This is so true. I’m one year and seven months post relationship and can see this from the outside looking in. It took several months in the beginning to start realizing these things but the sooner you do the work the sooner you can get on with your future and the journey I’ve been on for the past year and a half has been one of self love and self growth. It’s truly amazing to actually do the work and come to the realization of what that person really was to you and where some feelings and ideas originate.

It is imperative that you recognize why you feel the need to chase or entertain lopsided relationships with no reciprocity. The first thing you need to realize is that it’s not about them, it’s all about you identifying why you exhibit those behaviors, and then attack it with the proper work so that you can be healthy and happy with yourself and become a secure attachment style that knows your worth and would never chase someone that is clearly not interested in a two way relationship. Some people are just simply unavailable and too wrapped up in themselves to give you what you need.
Stop getting hung up on the potential or what could be. ✅🤷🏻‍♂️💯
