Hey y’all! 👋🏻 If you’re new here, let me introduce myself. I’m Emily, founder and owner of Just Peachy Cleaning Professionals. 🍑✨

What started nearly 9 years ago as a small side hobby to earn a little extra income quickly grew when I realized I was above average at cleaning (who knew, right? 🙃).

Five years in, still working a full time job, I was completely overloaded with clients and had to make a big decision: either step away from cleaning or take the leap into full-time business ownership. You can probably guess which path I chose. 😉

We’re now entering year 4 as a full-time business—and it’s growing like a w**d! 🌱 While we may be “small fish” in the overall industry, when it comes to quality, professionalism, and integrity, we’re absolutely big fish. 🐠💪

Let’s talk deep clean vs maintenance clean. A deep clean entails wet washing and detailing every inch of a property from top to bottom, and involves more more tedious methods of cleaning. What accompanies tedious cleaning? Time, resources, products, and knowledge. This is why a deep clean is often 2 to 4 times more than a maintenance clean. Running a swiffer duster across your baseboards isn’t going to cut through what’s essentially embedded to the surface. Always start fresh with a deep clean. After all, we can’t “maintenance clean” what’s not already maintained. 👌🏻✨

Someone recently told me that the only reason I do charitable work or help people is for clout — or to make myself feel good.

It caught me off guard. And honestly, it made me stop and examine my motives.

I’ve always believed I had a spirit of generosity. But it shook me and made me wonder… was I unknowingly turning the gift God gave me into something self-serving? Was I doing it for recognition?

That’s how the enemy works — planting seeds of doubt. And that one seed made me think, “Maybe I should never help anyone again. Maybe I should stop giving altogether if people are going to twist it.”

But then God reminded me of this truth:

“God will generously provide for those who are generous in their giving, enabling them to continue giving and meeting the needs of others.”

My heart for generosity is a gift from God. I give, I serve, I help — not because it benefits me, but because every time I do, He equips me to keep doing more. And it’s something I really love to do. So today I had the honor to bless Mr. Barry- a man who had every intention and capability to pay for the cleaning he booked. But I felt The Lord urging me to gift it.

This isn’t clout. This is testimony.

I almost let someone’s misunderstanding of me rob Mr. Barry and countless others of future blessings. I almost let their narrative silence what God put in me.

Not today satan.

Moral of the story- let them misunderstand you. And do good anyways.

And that’s on KINGDOM business.
