Massachusetts Women Of Color Coalition

Massachusetts Women Of Color Coalition We envision a Commonwealth of authentic inclusion where racism and sexism no longer dictates the outcomes of women of color and our communities.

Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition is dedicated to eradicating the racial inequities among women of color created by structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism. We will address racial inequities through authentic inclusion in the areas of politics, education, economic empowerment, criminal justice and health and wellness. Our success will maximize the benefits and contributions for all aggrieved communities of color and the Commonwealth as a whole.

Across Massachusetts and throughout the nation, women, especially Black, Indigenous, Asian, Latinx, Middle Eastern, multiracial, and other women of color—continue to shape civic and political life through public service, organizing, advocacy, movement building, scholarship, cultural work, and transformative leadership. And in this moment, when women of color—especially Black and brown women—are carrying the disproportionate weight of toxic federal policies, DEIA rollbacks, anti-immigration actions, and chronic divestment in our communities, our leadership has never been more essential. Yet even with our power and impact, we remain too often under-recognized, under-resourced, and undervalued. This gathering is a political home and strategy space for participants to breathe, restore, learn, and build power together.

By centering those who are often dismissed, this convening will provide an active space to:

* amplify the voices of women of color and other marginalized groups
* share proven strategies
* build sustainable pipelines for strategic leadership
* co-create pathways for transformative, intersectional, anti-racist leadership in civic and political spaces, grounded in evidence, narrative power, resource equity, and collective well-being.

Your presence brings insight and your lived experience deepens the conversation. Your leadership helps shape what comes next!

In a time marked by both backlash and possibility, gathering in community is a powerful way. to resist isolation, affirm our collective strength, and move with intention toward meaningful and lasting change.
