Have you ever wondered what might change if you took alcohol off the table for 30 days?

My sobriety, and the joy it has brought into my life, is something I feel deeply passionate about. That passion has created a felt need in me to share my journey, with the hope of connecting with and inspiring other women who may be questioning their relationship with alcohol.

For me, it began over 10 years ago with a 30-day experiment of taking alcohol off the table. At the time, I thought it would just be a month off, but what I discovered changed everything. That small step became the start of a much bigger journey.

SEVEN years of feeling ALL the feels, having MORE fun, and NO hangovers! As a former “social drinker”, alcohol was just a normal part of my life. It took the edge off and I liked that. 😜 Buuut, it also increased my anxiety and made me feel like garbage the next day. It was fun until it wasn’t.

Ten years ago, I decided to try a 30-day sober experiment and committed to not drinking for the month of June. Socially it was hard, but I didn’t miss the drinking (or feeling like s**t), and it opened my eyes to how much alcohol is threaded into EVERYTHING social.

Athough I felt amazing and decided to continue on the sober path for two more years, my relationship with alcohol didn’t end there. It was filled with highs and lows, drinking again, and quitting again. It has taught me a lot about myself AND what a good time really feels like. It did eventually get easier and now it’s no big deal. I mean, no big deal to be social without drinking. Being sober is a big deal…but so are you. ❤️

The shift into fall invites us to slow down, ground ourselves, and create space for what nourishes us most. As the days get shorter and the air turns cooler, our yoga practice becomes a steady rhythm—helping us stay balanced, strong, and centered through the changes

I’m away on vacation this week in Acadia, so no teaching for me…although I may drop into a class while I’m here! The studio still has a wonderful lineup of classes for you to pause, breathe, and care for yourself as we shift into fall. 🍂
