Ingredients: water, organic elderberries, raw honey, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, dried ginger, and tart cherries.

Don't let sickness get you down! There are a lot of cases of the flu so I wanted to share a simple home remedy for when you're feeling those symptoms come on.

Flu bomb recipe:
1/2 cup warm water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 garlic clove (peeled)
1 inch chunk fresh ginger
1 tbsp raw honey
1 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of black paper or
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, we omit for the kids!)

Add all ingredients to a blender and mix until fully pureed. Drink immediately. You can drink this 2-3 times a day for the first day and as needed after that. Remember that this is medicine! It's not the tastiest treat you've ever had, but it will help boost that immune system so you can go back to enjoying the holidays! Bottoms up and Merry Christmas!

😲 That's some pretty scary stuff! And it's one of the reasons that you should consider herbal medicine as an alternative to pharmaceuticals. God has created an amazing list of herbs to treat so many conditions, sans the long list of scary side effects! Plus herbal medicine is time tested! Doctors and healers have been using herbal remedies for centuries. There are a multitude of go to remedies to treat what ails you! Don't be afraid to learn something new (or old 😉)
