The past week has stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. I was threatened about changing my business name or face a long legal battle. As a small bsiness starting out — this was a moment that felt heavy, confusing, and honestly, a little heartbreaking. When you pour your whole self into something, even small shifts can feel big.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
A name can change, but the heart behind it doesn’t.
I am still a small, Hispanic, woman‑owned business built from courage, intention, and generations of resilience.
I am still here to offer care that nourishes, restores, and honors the whole person.
And I am still rooted in the same values that guided me from the very beginning — integrity, community, and a deep love for the work I do.
So today, I’m stepping forward with a new name that reflects not just where I’m going, but who I’ve always been:
Kay’s Collective; A Nourishing Wellness Company
This name feels like a homecoming — a reminder that even when the path shifts, I get to choose how I rise, how I grow, and how I continue serving this community with heart.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this transition. Your kindness, your messages, your belief in my work… it has meant more than I can ever express. This chapter may look different, but its foundation is the same.
