Why It Works Wednesday

Your physical therapist builds care plans around symptoms, functional limits, and recovery goals. This helps ensure recommendations fit the individual, not a one-size-fits-all routine.
✅ Tip: As symptoms improve, some people later transition into general fitness programs.

Physical Therapy Story Spotlight
“I have experienced extreme pain in my hip when trying to stand from a seated position. I had to have a hip replacement. I now have both hips replaced and both times I chose to have my physical therapy at Prostaff. The staff is amazing. They have a tendency to push you a little, but never to the point of causing pain. Last summer I could not go golfing with family and friends as often as I would have liked. I have just finished physical therapy and feel great. They not only got me up and moving, but they also educated me on exercises to keep other joints moving more fluid. Thanks to the great staff.” -Michael

Why It Works Wednesday

When pain is repeatedly aggravated by daily activities, your physical therapist considers how habits and tasks interact with symptoms. Small changes may help reduce flare-ups for some people.
