Save the date šŸ¤ Cape Cod Yoga RetreatšŸ“ October 2–4

Suellen Stringer-Hye and I quietly opened this retreat to returning guests just a few days ago…

and already have 5 spots booked.

It’s always so special to welcome familiar faces back—and it also means space is becoming limited earlier than expected.

This will be the third year that we are offering this retreat together, and our second year at the newly renovated Shore Haven Inn(formerly Beach Breeze Inn)—a beautiful inn just a short walk to the ocean and the perfect setting for a Cape Cod weekend getaway.

Think:
🌊 ocean air + slower mornings
šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø supportive yoga + meditation
šŸ² nourishing meals
šŸ’› space to truly reset

Because of the early interest, if you think you might like to join us, we encourage you to get on our waitlist for early access before we fully launch this year's retreat.

✨ To get on the waitlist and be first to receive details + early access + special rate, send me a DM with ā€œCAPE CODā€ or comment below.

One of the questions I hear most often about my retreats is:
ā€œIs this for me?ā€ or "Do I have enough yoga experience to join?"
And the answer is almost always *yes*.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of welcoming guests ranging from their 30s to their 70s, with all different levels of yoga experience, and many different body types. Some with some physical restrictions, some with none.

You don’t need to be "advanced" (whatever that means šŸ™‚ ), flexible, strong, a certain weight or even have much experience.

Yet if you do have a lot of experience (I have had a few yoga teachers join me) this could also be a good fit for you depending on what you are looking for in a retreat experience.

Everything is customized to the individual, unique people attending and so will be offered in a way that meets you where you are.

That’s also why I keep these retreats intentionally small. That way each person can feel supported, seen and not lost in a group.

And I’ll always be honest if I don’t feel something is the right fit for you, I’ll say so.
For example, this isn’t a yoga-intensive or teacher training-style retreat… though you may still find yourself growing and deepening your practice in a really natural, supportive way.

If you’ve been quietly wondering whether this might be something for you, I hope this helps you see that you are absolutely welcome.

There are just a few spots remaining for Tuscany šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to find out more šŸ’›

Save the Dates 🌊 Cape Cod Yoga Retreat 2026
šŸ“ Friday, October 2 – Sunday, October 4

There’s something about Cape Cod in the fall…
the quieter beaches, softer light, and that sense of space to truly exhale.

This will be the third year that Suellen Stringer-Hye and I are offering this retreat together, and it’s become such a special weekend—simple, calming, grounding, and deeply nourishing in all the right ways.

Join us and step into a few days where the ease of a Cape escape meets intentional practices that help you reconnect with all the best parts of yourself.

If you’ve been looking for something close to home that still feels like a true chance to rest and reset, this retreat may be for you.

Booking will be opening soon, and there’s already been a lot of early interest…

✨ Comment ā€œWaitlistā€ below or Send One of Us a Message and we'll make sure you’re among the first to receive details and early access

Earth Day 2026 🌿
Still here. Still caring. Still hopeful.

As a former marine biologist, caring for the earth has never been separate from who I am, it’s something I feel deeply, every day and still do.

Honestly, lately that care has also come with a lot of worry.

Seeing protections being rolled back, agencies damaged, research interrupted, and all the ways in which our planet and its animals, even our water and air are not being cared for as they should be.

At times I feel grief, anxiety, and even question what was all of my work and the work of so many of my colleagues for??

How could all of the progress we have seen during our lifetimes, be slowly, thoughtlessly and foolishly be rolled back. It is just mindblowing at times and I sometimes don't even know how to process it.

I know many of you feel this too.

That deep love for the earth.
That at times overwhelming concern.
That desire to protect what is so precious and in the end vital to the existence of all animals, plants and humans.

I am not here to pretend that these things are not happening
And at the same time…

I still believe in hope. I still believe that so many of us still are fighting a very good fight with a number of significant victories large and small.

And I see this hope and the future after all of this comes into balance again

And in the resiliency and beauty of nature even in the midst of all of this...

I see it in small, quiet moments.
In the way light moves through the trees, the way the sand sounds under my feet.
I see it in the ospreys coming back to Cape Cod and showing us what a conservation success story looks like

I feel hope in the presence of so many other animals, and
in the feeling of being still be able to feel grounded and held by the natural world simply by being present in nature consciously choosing to allow all of my senses to take it all in.

This is something I come back to again and again. It is something that I try to share with my students who are nature lovers too or still working in the fields of conservation or veterinary science
and something I try to share through the kinds of retreats that I organize and lead.

Not to turn away from what’s happening…
but to stay connected in a way that allows us to keep caring, without becoming completely overwhelmed.

To remember the sense of wonder.
The curiosity.
The joy.

Because that connection is what helps us stay engaged, stay open, and keep going.

If you’re feeling the weight of it all today, just know you’re not alone. I am thinking of you and sending a little extra support your way šŸ’›

And if you’re longing for time to reconnect more deeply with nature and yourself, I shared a post recently about my upcoming Tuscany retreat — a space created with this exact intention. You can find it on my page if you feel called to take a look.

Do you feel everything deeply…?

Do you find yourself caring about the world, about animals, about ecosystems, about other people —

even when there is so much division, suffering, and lack of compassion around you?

Does it sometimes feel heavy… even discouraging or overwhelming…
to keep your heart open in a world that can feel like too much?

So you carry a lot, quietly.

And yet, despite it all, there is still something in you that wants to
keep showing up with kindness, compassion, and hope — even when it feels hard.

Lately, have you been feeling the need to step away…
not to disconnect from the world —
but to come back to yourself

To breathe again.
To truly relax and let go of trying to control it all.
To remember the beauty and joy that still exists all around us.

If this sounds like you, this retreat may be exactly what you need.

Because something shifts when you arrive in a place like this.

You begin to slow down.
Your body starts to soften.
Your mind becomes quieter.

And through time away to immerse yourself in yoga, meditation and time in nature, you begin to remember something very simple but often forgotten —

that you are not alone.

That you are supported.
Held by nature.
Held by breath.
Held by life itself.

And in the presence of a small group of like-minded people, something else happens too —

You feel seen.
You feel heard.
You feel understood.
You feel grounded again.

And slowly, you may begin to recognize that what you’ve been carrying — your sensitivity, your depth, your big heart — is not a weakness at all…

but something that can also be a source of strength, connection, and wisdom.

This June 4-9th in Tuscany, we’ll gather in a peaceful, natural setting to rest, reconnect, and return to ourselves.

Surrounded by olive trees, open skies, nourishing food, gentle animals, and a small group of like-hearted people…

You can put down all that you have been holding or a few days.
You can let go, exhale, and just be.

Our group is nearly complete, with the last few spaces remaining.

If this sounds like an experience you would love to join right now, please reach out for details. šŸ’›

Morning light, olive trees, and nowhere else to be 🌿

In just under two months, we’ll be gathering in Tuscany — settling into a slower rhythm of sun-filled mornings, fresh air, nourishing meals, and space to truly unwind.

There’s something that shifts, almost immediately, when you step out of your usual environment and into a place like this. The body softens. The mind quiets. And things begin to feel lighter — both around you and within you.

Our home for the week is a beautiful eco-conscious villa nestled in the countryside…
and life there doesn’t just revolve around us.

We’ll be sharing the space with some very special non-human ā€œhostsā€ —
Lara, the gentle Lagotto Romagnolo,
MimƬ, a farm cat with lots of cattitude ,
El Guapo the proud rooster (and his crew),
buzzing honeybees, birds, and the quiet presence of nature all around 🐾🌿

It’s a place where you can truly take a break from the rush and reconnect — not just with yourself, but with the natural world in a simple, grounding way.

Each day includes:
✨ Morning yoga and afternoon meditation under the open sky
✨ Fresh, locally sourced Italian meals
✨ Time to rest, swim, explore, or wander through olive groves or trails
✨ Space for connection, reflection, and also lightness, laughter, and joy

I’m so excited that we’re getting close now to this experience, and just a few spots are left.

If you can picture yourself being here with all of us (human and animals ), please reach out for more information. 🌿

Morning light from the Tuscan sun…
Coffee or tea in hand…
Olive trees just outside…
And nowhere else you need to be 🌿

In just under two months, we’ll be gathering in Tuscany. Settling into a slower rhythm of sun-filled mornings, fresh air, nourishing meals, great company and space to truly unwind.

Our home for the week is a beautiful eco-conscious villa nestled in the countryside. This place is so special!

MimƬ, a farm cat with lots of cattitude šŸ™‚,
El Guapo the proud rooster (and his crew),
buzzing honeybees, birds, and the truly soothing, rooted, restorative presence of nature all around 🐾🌿

This is a place where you can truly take a break from the busyness in your life, your mind and the turbulence in the world, and reconnect. This reconnection is with your Self of course, but it’s also with the natural world, happening in a simple, grounded, wonderful way.

Each day includes:

✨ Morning yoga and afternoon meditation under the open sky
✨ Fresh, locally sourced Italian meals (many ingredients sourced onsite!)
✨ Time to rest, swim in the gorgeous pool, explore, wander through olive groves or walk on nearby trails
✨ A special nature-based activity and one half day in a local medieval village
✨Space for connection, reflection, and also lightness, laughter, and joy

I’m so excited that we’re getting close now to this experience, and just a few spots are left.

I’ve been speaking with a few women recently who really want to join me on a retreat in Tuscany…

And at the same time feel hesitant — whether they’re traveling alone or even with a friend —

about coordinating flights, navigating travel, or stepping into something unfamiliar in terms of the place and all of the new people.

If that sounds like you, I hear you AND I want to share something important about how I approach these retreats.

They are intentionally small and personal, and both myself and my co-host Marta (who is based in Italy and an experienced retreat planner) are very hands-on in supporting you.

If that’s you, I just want you to know — We are here for you and you will NOT be left to figure it all out on your own.

This is a small, supportive retreat, and both myself and my co-host Marta (who is based in Italy and plans retreats full-time) are very hands-on in helping with the details — from travel planning to getting settled once you arrive.

To curating a very welcoming group and making sure everyone feels heard and included.

To giving you individualized attention during yoga sessions. So that you feel nurtured and also able to truly grow in your practice during our time together.

And beyond this, I understand that feeling of hesitation. I’ve worked through anxiety myself, and I know how easy it is to hold back from something you really want.

But I also know how empowering it feels on the other side.

This retreat is designed to be a space where you feel supported, welcomed, and able to truly relax into the experience.

We’re getting closer to closing bookings now, with just a few spaces remaining.

If you’ve been thinking about it but feeling unsure, I’d be very happy to connect and talk things through šŸ’›

ps. These photos are from a past retreat on Cape Cod, but this same care and support is something I bring into every experience I offer

* From helping you with travel logistics and getting there with ease.
* To curating a very welcoming group and making sure everyone feels heard and included.
* To giving you customized attention during yoga sessions that fits YOUR body and YOUR yoga practice - in a way that is both nurturing and at the same time will expand your practice long after the retreat is over.

We are here for you and you will NOT be left to figure things out on your own.

And beyond that, I truly understand the emotional side of it. I’ve worked through anxiety myself, and I know how easy it is to talk ourselves out of something that we actually really want to do.

BUT, I also know how empowering it is to take that step — and how much it can open up and how great you can feel afterwards.

This retreat experience isn’t about pushing yourself into something overwhelming.

It’s about being supported into something new, transformative and meaningful.

We’re getting closer to closing bookings now, with just a few spaces remaining.

One of the most meaningful parts of my retreats is getting to know the wonderful people who show up.

Kind, thoughtful, open-hearted, courageous, hopeful people from many different places. Many of whom I am so grateful to welcome again and again. In fact, several guests joining us in Tuscany have been on multiple retreats with me. šŸ™‚

As this particular group comes together, I can already feel that same energy forming. This is something which always makes these experiences so special and something that can feel so different than in a lot of experiences in our every day lives.

We’re in the final stages of filling the retreat, with just a few spaces remaining.

If you’ve been considering it, I’d be glad to share more so please reach out or comment below if you prefer šŸ’›

We’re in the final stages of gathering this beautiful group for Tuscany this June 🌿

There are just a few spaces remaining, and it’s really starting to come together in a special way.

This retreat is designed to be a space to slow down, reconnect, and be supported — in nature, in practice, and in community. All while spending time in a gorgeous setting.

If you’ve been taking a look and considering joining us, this may be a good moment to reach out and see whether it might be a fit šŸ’›
