We feel the love at Coastal Manor!! Thank you to the students of NYA middle school for making valentine headbands, and painting nails, with our residents. We also celebrated with a ladies tea party, along with a woodworking session for the men.

Thank you to the Yarmouth Clippers Men's Varsity Basketball Team for coming to Coastal Manor to play Bingo & Basketball this past weekend. Our residents had a "ball" and thoroughly enjoyed their time with the athletes and their coaches. The winners of the basketball shootout were the Coastal Manor "Maineiacs," who beat the Clippers, 7 to 5! We greatly appreciate the joy you brought to our residents and the service provided to our community. Go Clippers, and best of luck with the rest of your season!

Thank you to the Kendell Inn Bed and Breakfast in Freeport for your generous donation of a Krakauer piano, and The Cutter Family in Cape Elizabeth for your donation of a beautiful dining room set. Both have found their perfect new home in Coastal Manor's second floor dining/recreation room. We appreciate the great support from neighboring communities!!

Special thanks to this week's "Mystery Guest," local wood carver Dale Akeley. Dale wowed our residents by sharing his amazing talent with examples if his artistry. Although he didn't stump this audience, they asked many questions to indentify his passion, before showing them his work.

Our amazing Coastal Manor residents made delicious homemade pizzelles today. Although many have not cooked or baked for some time, their culinary talent still shines!!

Coastal Manor is blessed to have access to an abundance of local talented entertainers. One of our resident's favorite singers, Jay Staples, wowed us today with toe tapping, hand clapping, oldies! Thanks Jay for a great show.

Look who was our recent "Mystery Guest!" Thank you Jason Nappi for coming to Coastal Manor to engage our residents in the "What's My Line" game. It was an honor to have Maine's most popular meteorologist, a talented digital creator and respected lover of the local food and restaurant scene, to share his knowledge and experiences with our residents. They thoroughly enjoyed your visit. We hope you come back soon!!
