🍽️Intermittent fasting, alternate day fasting, and time restricted feeding are the most studied approaches to fasting for health.
⛽️When you are in your “feeding window”, your body is mainly utilizing glucose as fuel. When you’re in your fasting window, you body is using mainly ketones, or broken down stored fat.
⏰Studies show that ketone levels usually start rising about 8-12 hours after starting a fast (fast: no consumption of food items; non caloric liquid like water💧is ok.
