Hi, I’m Ashley! 🌿
I’m a twin boy mom, wife, runner, yoga lover, Family Nurse Practitioner, and the founder of Rooted Family Wellness here in York, Maine.

With a passion for holistic health, I created Rooted Family Wellness to offer Direct Primary Care (DPC) that goes beyond the traditional model. My goal is to build real, personal relationships with my patients—so together we can create tailored care plans that lead to better health outcomes and a stronger sense of wellbeing. 🤎

What I love most about DPC is the ability to spend more time with my patients and communicate directly—whether through calls, texts, or tele-health—making care truly accessible.

One of the reasons I’m so passionate about Direct Primary Care (DPC) is that it allows me to offer services that traditional primary care often doesn’t. With DPC I’m able to go beyond the typical scope of care and offer holistic, integrative therapies. This approach focuses on addressing the root causes of health issues, not just treating symptoms.

Unlike traditional primary care, where visits can feel rushed, DPC gives me the freedom to spend more time with my patients, diving deeper into personal health concerns. It also means my patients have more direct access to me when needed, without the barriers that often come with insurance-based models.
