last night at Doulas’ Night Out 🧚🏽😍🩵 We connected intentionally with each other outside of the pressure of labels. We talked about how empathy and compassion show up in our lives and work as birth workers. We got silly, laughed, listened to each other, and spoke bravely about our life experiences and our relationship to empathy and compassion. It was a beautiful, magical night. Gratitude to Princess Umi for leading us, Nest & Nurture for hosting us, and all of the beautiful birth workers that shared space with me. 🩵🧚🏽🌻
