Hi folks! 👋 I'm Christie, and I'm a certified lactation counselor, full spectrum doula, and perinatal mental health supporter based in Redford Township.

I'm also a Survivor Moms' Companion Tutor, and I offer support for new parents coping with trauma. 🤝

The Survivor Moms’ Companion® (SMC) is a psychoeducational program that reduces intergenerational cycles of abuse and vulnerability by addressing trauma-related mental health and development needs during pregnancy and the early postpartum period. It is primary prevention for their babies. 🩹

SMC Clients experienced significant improvements in:

❤️‍🩹 Social relationships and emotional reactivity
❤️‍🩹 Management of PTSD symptoms in the presence of triggers
❤️‍🩹 Number of PTSD symptoms
