When it comes to cleaning, the tools matter just as much as the technique—and that’s exactly why we rely on microfiber cloths at Populist. 🧼✨

Unlike traditional cloths that tend to push dirt around, microfiber is designed to grab and hold it. Each cloth is made up of incredibly tiny fibers—about 1/100th the width of a human hair—that are positively charged. That means they naturally attract and trap negatively charged dust, dirt, bacteria, and even mold 🦠, pulling them off surfaces instead of spreading them around.

But it doesn’t stop there. High-quality microfiber is engineered with split fibers that act like tiny squeegees, lifting and locking in debris while absorbing up to 7x their weight in liquid 💧 The result? A deeper, more effective clean—often using just water.

This month's Team Member Spotlight features Maddie! 🌟

One thing she didn’t expect to develop on the job was communication. From making small talk with customers to solving problems in real time, keeping the conversation going plays a big role in making sure every job runs smoothly and every customer feels taken care of.

Outside of work, Maddie enjoys spending time with her plants and at aquariums—a hobby that’s equal parts relaxing and creative. 🌿🐠

If she was granted a year off with pay, she’d be exploring and eating her way around the world, with destinations like Germany, Japan, and China. ✈️🌍

Her go-to fuel during a busy workday is an espresso shot, sparkling water, and a good bagel sandwich. ☕🥯

And if she could switch roles with someone on the team for a day, she’d choose her associate Hollie—same job, just a different environment and a chance for a change of scenery.

🎉 Team Spotlight: Bev 🎉

Last month, Bev celebrated a huge milestone—15 years with Populist! She has been a steady, trusted part of our team as our Finance Clerk, and we’re so grateful for the care and dedication she brings to her role every day.

Outside of work, Bev values family time and church, and if she ever won a year off with pay, she’d spend it traveling to different countries and vacationing with her family. During the workday, you’ll often find her powered by crackers and peanut butter.

Fun fact: Bev has been married for 48 years, is a proud grandma to five grandkids, and loves cheering on Michigan and the Lions during football season 🏈
And if she could trade jobs with anyone on the team? She wouldn’t—because she truly loves what she does.
