2026 is finally here! God is doing a new thing in your life!

Take time today to look back at all of the blessings in your life and the things you currently have to be thankful for. Watch as you focus your gaze on gratitude that your anxiety and fears begin to lessen their hold.

So today, as you begin to give up something that has had a hold on your heart, remember this: God is in control. He will give you the strength you need to step forward in all that He has for you. When you keep your gaze on Him, everything else will seem to fade away.

Countdown - One more day...

When we come to the end of our strength and the end of our rope, God is always there to catch us.

It does not matter the season you are currently walking in, He is there walking right by your side. He who carries you never sleeps and is never having an off day. He loves you even more than you can imagine.

So, as you close out this year and prepare your heart for 2026, remember that you are dearly loved. You are a child of God.

As we fast and pray at the start of this year, you will begin to see your gaze be refocused. Off of you and your circumstances. Off of the waves and mountains in your path. You will fix your eyes on the One who has the power to calm your storms and to make straight your paths.

It is Him who has the power to redeem your heart and your story.

2026 is going to be an epic year. Keep focused on Him and you will have the peace that passes all understanding.

Countdown until 40 day fast -

Challenge today: As you are thinking about the type of fast you will be doing starting on January 1, begin thinking of a breakthrough other than yours that you can be praying into during this 40 day period.

God absolutely wants us to come to Him for breakthroughs we need, but He is also wanting us to come to Him praying for others who need their breakthrough. He already knows everything we need and is already working on things before we know it. The fasting however helps us to diminish our earthly strongholds and habitual patterns and make room for Him to move and strengthen our spirit.

Do you have a friend or family who needs breakthrough? Someone with cancer or someone who is facing a life threatening illness? Perhaps someone who suddenly lost their job or one who is in a period of much change. There are many people who are silently needing breakthrough. Truly take time to hear their story.

In this period of 40 days, take the time that you were devoting to fulfilling your earthly desires and use it instead in prayer, worship, spending time with God and being thankful for all He has done in all areas of your life. The fact that you have breath in your lungs today is the first thing to be thankful for.

He is a good Father and He will do beyond what you hope and dream when you submit to Him and give Him your heart.

Countdown until January 1…

If anyone is seeking breakthrough in any area of their life, fasting is one of the best ways to seek that breakthrough. It allows you to set down habits or things that typically have an influence in your life and instead to seek God and His solutions for that area.

It allows you to decrease the pull of your natural or carnal desires and to strengthen your spirit and your reliance on God.

Whether it’s a breakthrough in your health, your marriage, your work place, your relationships, your finances or any other area, God has the true answers. He is the only One who can help you move those mountains.

Begin thinking of an area you want to fast or submit to Him. Whether it’s a food such as added sugar, perhaps it’s laying down an addiction, maybe it’s fasting the first hour of your day to spend with Him.

Regardless of the exact details, the point is to strengthen yourself in Him. It is about setting aside time for Him to speak to your heart about what to fast and then turn to Him to carry you in pursuing this.

So, if you are seeking breakthrough, consider joining The Well’s 40 day fast starting January 1. We are not only wishing you a year filled with health, but of wholeness of mind, body and spirit.

We’re celebrating three years in business, and we want to share this milestone with you. Join us at The Well in Yreka on December 5th from 5–7 pm for our Member Appreciation Open House with snacks, good conversation, and an opportunity to visit with our providers.

We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received, and we’re excited to open this event to the whole community. If you’ve been curious about who we are or what we do, this is a great time to stop by and take a look around.

We’re also collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, and we welcome anyone who feels led to bring a gift for local children this Christmas season.
