We provide individualized, expert occupational therapy services, supplemented with nutritional education, cognitive restructuring, emotional and behavioral regulation, and activities promoting psychosocial health. This includes those with developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, sensory integration and processing disorders, mental health and behavioral issues, ADHD, Autism, pervasive developmental disorders, oppositional defiant disorders, and more. We also cater to additional conditions such as birth injuries, birth defects, congenital disorders like Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spinal bifida, cystic fibrosis, and Fragile X syndrome. Furthermore, we address obesity, diabetes, traumatic injuries, orthopedic injuries, poor posture, spinal curvatures, burns, traumatic amputations, post-surgical recovery, and chronic illnesses such as cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Our team of occupational and physical therapists may also assist children with specialized equipment, including wheelchairs, splints, bathing equipment, dressing devices, and communication aids. They provide strategies to help children overcome challenges more effectively. A tailored home exercise plan, coupled with a nutritional program, is crucial for the continuation of specific training and reinforces the skills the child is learning. Our speech-language pathologist (SLP) and assistants offer effective treatment strategies for receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language disorders, which can be transformative. Our therapeutic interventions include oral motor training, desensitization, and stimulation techniques that encourage a higher level of independence in communication, eating, and swallowing. Our speech therapists also specialize in communication aids for speech disorders, hearing impairment, and provide interactive learning activities for dyslexia, dyspraxia, and auditory processing disorders.
