Over fifty years ago, a young mother expecting her third child was told by doctors that abortion was her only option. They warned of risks to her health, her baby’s health, and even the possibility of losing them both.
But as a woman of deep faith, she stood firm. She chose life. But she had to do it alone because there wasn’t a Pregnancy Care Center to provide the compassion and hope she desperately needed.
That baby grew up to be a husband—healthy, strong, and without the challenges the doctors predicted. Today, both mother and son are alive and well. After her husband passed away, she was welcomed into her son and daughter-in-law’s home, where she is now care for her with gratitude and love.
Her courage reminds us why the Zephyrhills Pregnancy Care Center is vital. Families facing fear and uncertainty need a place of compassion, faith, and support—a place where life is honored and hope is offered. Every child is a gift, and every mother deserves to know she is not alone.
