✨ Yoga Therapy ✨
I’m reaching out to share that I am a qualified and registered yoga therapist (with the British Institute of Yoga Therapists).
Yoga therapy is a holistic, embodied approach to healing—looking at all layers of your being: physical body, mind, emotions, and your connection to yourself and others. Through yoga, somatics, and embodiment practices, you’ll learn to:
- Develop self-awareness and create more balance and harmony in your life
- Deepen compassion and trust in yourself
- Nurture healthier relationships with those around you
- Cultivate mindfulness in everyday living
- Regulate and rebalance your nervous system
- Build strength, mobility, flexibility, and ease in your body, supporting balance in both body and mind
Yoga therapy weaves together the wisdom of ancient yoga texts and practices, modern neuroscience, psychology, and somatic approaches, bringing together tradition and contemporary science in your healing journey.
Unlike talking therapies, yoga therapy works through the body as well as the mind. Instead of just talking about your experiences, you’re guided to gently feel, sense, breathe and embody them.
This allows patterns of stress, trauma, or emotion held in the body to be released in a safe and supportive way. Many people find this approach especially grounding when words alone aren’t enough.
Together, we can use these practices to support you in navigating:

- Everyday challenges
Yoga therapy isn’t about perfect poses—it’s about creating a safe, supportive space for you to reconnect with yourself and explore healing in a gentle, compassionate way.
