✨ Yoga Therapy ✨

I’m reaching out to share that I am a qualified and registered yoga therapist (with the British Institute of Yoga Therapists).

Yoga therapy is a holistic, embodied approach to healing—looking at all layers of your being: physical body, mind, emotions, and your connection to yourself and others. Through yoga, somatics, and embodiment practices, you’ll learn to:

- Develop self-awareness and create more balance and harmony in your life
- Deepen compassion and trust in yourself
- Nurture healthier relationships with those around you
- Cultivate mindfulness in everyday living
- Regulate and rebalance your nervous system
- Build strength, mobility, flexibility, and ease in your body, supporting balance in both body and mind

Yoga therapy weaves together the wisdom of ancient yoga texts and practices, modern neuroscience, psychology, and somatic approaches, bringing together tradition and contemporary science in your healing journey.

Unlike talking therapies, yoga therapy works through the body as well as the mind. Instead of just talking about your experiences, you’re guided to gently feel, sense, breathe and embody them.

This allows patterns of stress, trauma, or emotion held in the body to be released in a safe and supportive way. Many people find this approach especially grounding when words alone aren’t enough.

Together, we can use these practices to support you in navigating:

- Trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Life transitions
- Everyday challenges

Yoga therapy isn’t about perfect poses—it’s about creating a safe, supportive space for you to reconnect with yourself and explore healing in a gentle, compassionate way.

Reflecting on a this years 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training 🌟

I recently had the honor of leading a course focused on how therapeutic yoga can support mental health, emotional regulation and overall wellness and vitality.

I shared the therapeutic benefits of restorative practices and it’s importance for our mental health. Rest seems to be a radical act of self-care within our ‘burn out culture’ these days. Being able to gift myself with time to rest when I need it and not feel guilty about has really supported my healing journey.

I’m thrilled to announce my **Foundations of Yoga** course starting August 19th. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or just want to brush up on the basics, this 7-week journey is perfect for you. Each week, we’ll explore different aspects of yoga, from poses and alignment to meditation and stress relief. I’ll be right there with you, providing support and guidance to help you grow and feel confident.

🦋 Breathwork and the soothing sounds of the crystal sound bowls are natural healing techniques that work to clear heavy emotions and energy such as sadness, anxiety and anger.

🌟 These practices help regulate the nervous system, create balance and harmony within. The intention of this workshop is to guide you back to your centre, your home, your self. With this connection to self comes greater clarity, connection to your intuition, increased empathy, and an increased access to your creativity and inspiration.

🌿 You will leave feeling rebalanced, restored and full of vitality.

🙋 What you’ll need:
- Warm comfortable clothing.

✨ Experience the powerful combination of guided breathwork and soothing sounds of crystal sound bowls. Both methods improve physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing in different ways.

🧘‍♀️ Breathwork also known as pranayama, is a yoga practice that focuses on conscious breathing to calm and strengthen the mind and body. We will start with a 30-minute immersive breathwork session to foster a deep connection with your inner self that nourishes, energises and relaxes you. Conscious control of the breath can also help to allow the sound to enter the body more deeply and enhance the effect of Sound Healing.

✨ This will be followed by 30 minutes of a crystal sound healing session. Sound bowls create healing frequencies that bring you into a deep state of relaxation which allows your body to rest, digest, restore and repair. The sound waves slow our brain waves down and help to bring about balance, relieve stress, tension and anxiety.

📒 Our breathwork and sound journey will end with a short time to journal or share your experience if you so wish.

✨ Come and embrace this opportunity for personal growth and inner exploration.

What you’ll need:

• Comfortable clothing
• Water to stay hydrated.
