FURTHER EXPLORE THE SCIENCE BEHIND YIN HYDRATION TEA:

Here, some of the molecular mechanisms through which the ingredients in Yin Hydration Tea contribute to enhanced cellular hydration and overall well-being:

1. Dendrobium Polysaccharides

Aquaporin-5 Translocation: Polysaccharides from Dendrobium officinale have been shown to induce the translocation of Aquaporin-5 (AQP5) to the cell membrane by activating M3 muscarinic receptors. AQP5 facilitates water transport across cell membranes, thereby enhancing cellular hydration.(https://www.researchgate.net/publication/270964170_Polysaccharides_of_Dendrobium_officinale_Induce_Aquaporin_5_Translocation_by_Activating_M3_Muscarinic_Receptors)
Antioxidant Activity: Studies indicate that Dendrobium polysaccharides possess significant antioxidant properties, protecting cells from oxidative stress and supporting their ability to retain moisture. (https://bmcchem.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13065-018-0468-4?)

2. Ophiopogon japonicus (Mai Men D**g)

Skin Hydration and Barrier Function: Extracts from Ophiopogon japonicus roots are rich in fructosans, which have been found to activate keratinocyte differentiation and reinforce cohesion in the upper epidermis. This action enhances the skin's barrier function, promoting better hydration. (https://www.silab.fr/en/products/skincare/61/cohesium?)
Anti-Inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties: The root extract contains homoisoflavonoids and polysaccharides that exhibit anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities, protecting cells from damage and aiding in maintaining cellular hydration. (https://us.typology.com/library/what-are-the-benefits-of-ophiopogon-japonicus-extract-on-the-skin?)

3. Codonopsis pilosula

Regulation of Water and Electrolyte Homeostasis: Studies have shown that Codonopsis pilosula can modulate water and electrolyte balance by affecting the expression of angiotensin II receptor type 1 (AT1R) and aldosterone biosynthesis. This regulation is possibly achieved through the downregulation of transcription factors SP1 and TEF, which play roles in fluid balance and blood pressure regulation. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8093420/)

4. Rehmannia glutinosa

Antioxidant Activity and Nrf2 Pathway Activation: Research indicates that water extracts of Rehmannia glutinosa can effectively improve oxidative stress-induced imbalances by activating the Nrf2 pathway. This activation enhances the body's antioxidant defenses, protecting cells from damage and supporting their ability to retain moisture. (https://www.spandidos-publications.com/10.3892/etm.2017.5302)

OTHER GENERAL MECHANISMS FOR HYDRATION:

1. Anti-Inflammatory Action and Functional Hydration

Chronic inflammation disrupts the balance of electrolytes and fluids in the body, contributing to dehydration at a cellular level. Inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6, TNF-alpha) can damage the integrity of cell membranes and interfere with normal cellular hydration. By reducing inflammation, herbs with anti-inflammatory properties, such as Eclipta prostrata and Trichosanthes kirilowii, help:

Maintain endothelial function: Inflammation can impair the endothelial cells that line blood vessels, leading to impaired circulation and fluid transport. Anti-inflammatory effects help maintain the integrity of these blood vessels, improving the distribution of fluids and nutrients throughout the body.

Reduce vascular permeability: Inflammation increases the permeability of blood vessels, leading to fluid leakage and reduced hydration within cells. Anti-inflammatory herbs can help restore proper fluid balance by reducing this permeability, thereby supporting hydration.

Balance cytokine levels: Cytokines also play a role in controlling fluid movement across cell membranes. By modulating these, anti-inflammatory herbs can support the body’s ability to retain and circulate water effectively.

2. Anti-Allergy Action and Hydration

Allergic reactions often lead to dehydration symptoms, as the body’s immune response to allergens (such as pollen or dust mites) causes the release of histamines. Histamine release can lead to:

Fluid leakage: Histamine increases the permeability of blood vessels, causing fluids to leak into tissues and leading to swelling and dehydration in localized areas, such as the skin, sinuses, and digestive system.

Impaired water retention: Allergic responses can alter the body’s fluid balance, especially in the digestive tract and skin. By reducing histamine release, anti-allergy herbs (such as Codonopsis pilosula and Mai Men D**g) prevent excessive fluid loss and support proper hydration.

3. Oxidative Stress Protection and Hydration

Oxidative stress occurs when there is an imbalance between reactive oxygen species (ROS) and antioxidants in the body. ROS damage cellular structures, including membranes, mitochondria, and DNA. This damage can impede the cells' ability to retain water, as well as compromise the function of tissues that manage hydration. The protection against oxidative stress helps hydration in several ways:

Membrane integrity: Oxidative stress can damage the cell membranes, making it harder for cells to maintain proper fluid levels. By reducing oxidative damage, antioxidant-rich herbs (like Dendrobium and Rehmannia glutinosa) help maintain healthy, functioning cell membranes that allow for better hydration.

Mitochondrial function: Mitochondria play a key role in maintaining fluid balance by regulating the ATP-driven pumps that move water and electrolytes across cell membranes. Oxidative stress can impair mitochondrial function, disrupting hydration. Antioxidant herbs protect mitochondria, ensuring that these vital hydration mechanisms continue to function optimally.

DNA repair: DNA damage caused by oxidative stress can lead to dysfunctional cells that cannot properly manage hydration. Herbs that reduce oxidative stress, such as Rehmannia and Ginseng, also support DNA repair mechanisms, helping to restore hydration functionality at the cellular level.

4. cGMP stimulation

The Yin tonic herbs used in Yin Hydration tea, also are known to increase cGMP levels in the cells, further supporting hydration.

cGMP is a secondary messenger molecule involved in many physiological processes, including the regulation of hydration, vascular tone, and electrolyte balance.

Once produced, cGMP activates several downstream pathways, including:
- Vasodilation (relaxation of blood vessels);
- Regulation of sodium and water excretion in the kidneys
- Ion channel modulation in various cells, including epithelial cells involved in hydration.

How cGMP Promotes Hydration

1. Vasodilation and Improved Blood Flow:
cGMP activates protein kinase G (PKG), which promotes the relaxation of smooth muscle cells in blood vessels. This leads to vasodilation, improving blood flow and ensuring that tissues, including the kidneys, receive adequate blood supply. Better blood circulation enhances nutrient and fluid delivery to cells, promoting hydration.

2. Regulation of Sodium and Water Balance in the Kidneys:
cGMP plays a significant role in the kidneys by influencing the excretion of sodium and water. High cGMP levels stimulate the sodium-potassium ATPase pump, which helps the kidneys manage sodium reabsorption and water excretion. By promoting the balance of sodium and water, cGMP supports proper hydration.
Additionally, cGMP acts on the kidney tubules to regulate fluid retention and promote diuresis when necessary, maintaining homeostasis in the body.

3. Ion Channel Modulation:
cGMP influences the movement of ions across cell membranes by modulating ion channels, such as potassium (K+) and chloride (Cl-) channels, in various tissues. This effect is particularly important for hydration in epithelial tissues and the cells lining blood vessels and the intestines. By modulating these channels, cGMP helps cells retain water and maintain proper fluid balance.

4. Antioxidant Protection and Cellular Hydration:
cGMP also influences antioxidant systems within cells, helping to protect cells from oxidative stress that could impair hydration. By enhancing the body's ability to neutralize free radicals, cGMP supports cellular integrity, ensuring that cells maintain hydration and function properly.

Fasting Support: The Ultimate Electrolyte Formula for Optimal Hydration, Detox, and Energy

Fasting is one of the most powerful tools for cleansing, healing, and optimizing health. But whether you're doing a short intermittent fast or a longer extended fast, one thing remains crucial: proper hydration and mineral balance. Without it, fasting can lead to fatigue, headaches, muscle cramps, and ineffective detoxification.

That’s where Fasting Support comes in—a cutting-edge electrolyte blend designed to optimize hydration, detox pathways, energy production, and overall well-being. Unlike standard electrolyte supplements that overload on sodium while neglecting key minerals, Fasting Support provides highly bioavailable potassium, magnesium, boron, and taurine—the foundation of deep cellular hydration and detoxification.

Why Fasting Support?

Unlike conventional electrolyte supplements, Fasting Support goes far beyond just replacing lost minerals. It’s carefully formulated to:

1. Optimize Hydration at the Cellular Level

Magnesium citrate & glycinate: These two forms of magnesium are highly absorbable and support optimal water retention in cells, preventing dehydration and cramps.

Potassium citrate: Crucial for deep hydration, potassium regulates fluid balance and works synergistically with magnesium to support the movement of water and nutrients across cell membranes.

Boron & Taurine: Often overlooked, boron and taurine enhance mineral absorption and balance, ensuring that hydration is fully optimized.

2. Supercharge Detoxification

No detox strategy is effective without proper hydration and minerals. Water alone is not enough—your body needs potassium and magnesium to efficiently flush out toxins and maintain a balanced pH.

Potassium citrate is essential for mobilizing waste out of cells and preventing acidosis.

Magnesium is a cofactor in hundreds of enzymatic detox reactions.

Boron supports the removal of heavy metals and helps regulate inflammation during detox.

3. Reduce Inflammation & Support Overall Well-Being

Fasting Support doesn’t just hydrate—it actively reduces inflammation and enhances recovery:

Magnesium & potassium help calm the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety.

Boron plays a key role in modulating inflammation and supporting immune function.

Taurine acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative stress.

4. Boost Energy, ATP Production & Immunity

Without minerals, energy production in your mitochondria slows down. Fasting Support provides:

Magnesium & taurine to enhance ATP production, reducing fasting-related fatigue.

Potassium to keep the nervous system and muscles functioning at peak performance.

Boron to support immune function and improve recovery.

5. Prevent Kidney Stones & Support Bone Mineralization

Fasting can sometimes increase the risk of kidney stones due to dehydration and mineral loss. Fasting Support helps prevent this naturally:

Potassium citrate is clinically proven to help dissolve and prevent kidney stones.

Boron enhances calcium metabolism, strengthening bones while keeping arteries clear of excess calcium deposits.

Magnesium ensures that calcium is properly utilized rather than contributing to kidney stones.

Why Fasting Support is Superior to Other Electrolyte Supplements

Most electrolyte products rely on low-quality mineral forms and excessive sodium, which can worsen inflammation for people sensitive to salt. Fasting Support is different:
✅ High bioavailability—uses superior citrate, glycinate, and boron forms for maximum absorption.
✅ Balanced electrolyte profile—prioritizes potassium and magnesium, which are far more important for hydration and detox than sodium.
✅ Optional sea salt addition—for those who need extra sodium without compromising those who are salt-sensitive due to inflammation or heavy metal issues.

SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE FOR BODY'S IMPACT ON MENTAL HEALTH

From time to time, I see some angry/traumatized people being offended by the simple statement that their mental health strongly depends on their body's health. They stubbornly refuse to believe that there are other ways (more effective) than using psychotic drugs.

These are people who have been indoctrinated by profit-driven medical businesses (backed up by the corrupted pseudo-science of psychiatry), into believing that their brain is not connected to the rest of the body. Yes, you heard me: "not connected". By some magic? I honestly don't know how they can justify that 😆.
Or sometimes (by some magic again?) they think that it's only a one-way relationship: "the brain communicates with the body, but the body doesn't communicate with the brain, somehow".

This is really nonsense, so I don't think I need to provide much explanation here.
So, to reply them, I won't bother trying to explain how the body influences emotions and brain's function. First, because it's obvious, second, because the angry people wouldn't listen anyway, and third, because I don't want to make this article too long.

At the end of the article, I will just cite some scientific references that provide objective evidence for that body-mind connection.*

Correlation is not causation - of course - but we know physical weaknesses causes mental disorders when correlation is enlightened with the understanding of biology and underlying mechanisms. Some research papers take time to mention these mechanisms if you care to read. The causation is also proved by studies showing that we can improve mental health by using tools (such as fasting, exercising, dieting, supplements, herbs...) that improve physical health or specific organs.

That said, we also know that the mind can influence the body, via other mechanisms. I'm just saying that it's not only a one-way influence but a two-ways influence.
Furthermore, this two-ways influence is also demonstrated by the observation that there are always vicious and virtuous circles when it comes to health. This is not only an observation but simple logic based on the knowledge that biological systems thrive on retroactive/feedback loops (a bit like a Tennis match).

Finally, if you are Christian, you should know that this knowledge is also fundamental in Biblical teachings. Jesus mentioned several times body's influence over the mind, because it has major spiritual implications.
It is also a pilar of Buddhist teaching and many other spiritual teachings. The famous "You are not your mind" means that your thinking can easily become a puppet of your emotions, meaning that your emotions do not come from "you" but from your body. Your beliefs are only there to feed certain pre-existing emotions rather than others.

So body's influence over the mind was already known and taught thousands of years ago. But who knew that you just need a bunch of angry people to destroy thousands years of wisdom and (at least) a hundred year of medical research? 🙄

I know some people still think that I say what I say just to protect my own business and ego. They forget that I was never forced to choose my own activity. I can always invest my time in other things if I care to.
If I do this business it's only because I'm driven by my desire to help the sick, as well as to serve the truth. Why? Maybe because I've been confronted with too many lies and health issues during my life.
I know many people don't have a job that aligns with their convictions and principles. But that's not my case.

Cheers!

Note: In many of these problems you can see immune disorders /chronic infections, inflammation, nutritional deficiencies, toxins (especially in the brain). Hence, psychotic drugs would already be more effective if they were aiming brain detoxification and immunity rather than brain neurotransmitters. But even that would still be not enough to enable healing.
Psychoactive drugs like SSRIs, can still provide some relief by helping brain detoxification indirectly via NGF or BDNF, or by helping remodeling the brain in creating positive neural pathways. However, all this is greatly hindered by not addressing other physical imbalances that have greater inertia, as well as not addressing negative beliefs (spiritual issues).
Not to mention that psychoactive drugs induce strong negative side effects such as dependency/addiction and exhaustion by excessive stimulation.
For all these reasons, many people end up in a worst state, not knowing that simple fasting, dieting and exercising could greatly improve their lives...
