During pregnancy, the health of mother and baby is extremely important. Regular obstetric monitoring and examination will help promptly detect pregnancy abnormalities, thereby quickly treating them early to avoid affecting the health of both mother and child.
👉 REGULAR PREGNANCY EXAMINATION MARKMENTS PREGNANT MOTHERS SHOULD NOTE:
1 week late period: Determine the position of the fetus to see if it is nested or ectopic, whether the fetus has a viable heartbeat or not. From there, calculate the due date of the baby based on the ultrasound or the mother's last menstrual period. The doctor will note the mother's medical history for monitoring (blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, epilepsy, old surgical wounds,...)
👉1st time (6-8 weeks): Check the fetal heart, determine the length of the embryo, the size of the amniotic sac and the doctor will check whether this development is in accordance with the gestational age or not.
👉Second time (11-14 weeks): Very important milestone for ultrasound of fetal nuchal translucency, Double test to screen for Down defects
👉3th time (16 weeks): Triple test to screen for Down syndrome, Soft Marker ultrasound, amniocentesis consultation, tetanus vaccination...
👉4th time (22-23 weeks): Very important. 4D ultrasound detects whether the fetus has any defects
👉5th time (26 weeks): Screening for gestational diabetes, tetanus vaccination
👉6th time (31-32 weeks): During this period, mothers should have prenatal checkups twice a week to monitor
👉7th time (35-36 weeks): This stage is extremely important. From this stage onwards, you need to go to the hospital for check-ups every week or whenever you have abdominal pain or bleeding to monitor the fetal heart rate, fetal movements and see if the cervix is open or not. Your job now is to keep your spirit comfortable, happy and rest well, because it won't be long before you welcome your baby into the world...
