If you have a child between the age of 5-12 I have two groups every Friday Amoremio.

Group 2 ( age 8-12 ) has currently got five openings as of mid September. Children are moving / leaving the country and new spaces are opening up.

☕️Because of the nature of the space which I utilise I try keep the groups relatively small, although I’m used to teach classroom sized groups 🙂 so your child will still have individual attention from me.

The price per lesson is 1450VT all materials included.

I prefer monthly or term sign ups just because our created pieces often extend over two lessons ( 2 weeks).

I’m always open for questions and am super grateful for all the happy faces that show up every week.

✨Today was another beautiful day at ARTOPiA on the art veranda at the venue of Amoremio it’s always a treat for the children to have something special to go along with their art class. Some enjoy a smoothie or a Crêpe or even an ice cream in a special chocolate sprinkle cone. Some just prefer water and hanging on the monkey bars.

Either way ending the week like this seems to be very rejuvenating for the kids and that’s what matters most 🥰

We are learning about different styles, exploring a variety of mediums & materials, art related occupations, modern day illustrators and the past legendary artists of our time.

All of that is merged into creating and expressing a own unique art piece…

We are back !!!
🎨Artopia Kids Art Classes on Friday‘s at Amoremio are back!

🎨These next 10 weeks will be jam packed full with the following:
•We will be learinging about art in different forms & professions
•We will be learning about different children’s illustrators and try out their art styles
•We will cover Monet, Chagall and Van Gogh in a fun / no pressure - child friendly way

🎨Other than that I want to focus on :
•Sense Memory & Art
•Therapeutic elements in every class
•Unlocking the individual strengths of each individual child within their creative process.

All kids get to play and run, swing and enjoy an ice cream or smoothie ( if you give them some pocket money) 😉

What a way to end the school week and start the weekend 😉🫶🏼☀️

🎨Friday FUN recap

This Friday we began our new 11 week term with learning about the Illustrator named Lucy Cousins.

She’s the author of all the Maisy Mouse books but also wrote many different children’s books one being “Good Night Little Fish”.

Together we vibrantly discussed why she used dark outlines and the children all discussed, together and came up with many thoughts then agreed that it must be for little children under the age of 3 to see better and even for little babies when their moms read to them, and for them to maybe see the colors and outlines better. How true this is 🤗

How wonderful it is to hear their thoughts and how evidently knowledgeable and true.

I love this group of children and how they dive into creative thinking and I knew that there are some story tellers in my midst.

We also discussed how Lucy Cousins writes and how much kindness is in her words. And how her words make children feel.

Then we went into recreating her illustrations and making it our own.

🌟Not as easy as they thought 😜 they soon realised that even though these drawings seem so simple, Lucy has her own unique techniques.

🎨If your child is an ArtopiaKid please go ahead and ask them about their last art class if they haven’t told you much! Sometimes children don’t process verbally and need a day or two. I bet they’ll have a lot to say.

🎨For all that are reading and considering to sign up your child for the term. I have good NeWs for you !

And I have 2 openings for the month of September.

✨If you are already a part of the ARTOPiA family ( if your child is enrolled in one of my art courses or is taking up 1:1 sessions), then you qualify for a 10% discount.

✨ August prices:
“Mini” Family Session ( up to 7 people ) and approximately 25 -30 high quality photos. ~ 20.000vatu for +- 30 minutes.

✨ Full Family Session :
45.000vatu you can expect around 60 photos including single and siblings portraits. Additional options to add grandparents, cousins etc. The max limit is 20 people for this price. If the family is larger and you have special requests we can individualise a package for your family.

✨Pregnancy or couples photography starting at 10.000 vatu for a mini session ( 15 high quality photos) plan 30 min for a relaxed mini session at your dream location.

About yesterday… 🎨✨

It’s so awesome & a pleasure to have two groups of very unique and talented kiddos with me every Friday.

( ~Thank you parents for your trust~)

✨Now that we’ve reached week 3 the groups are starting to harmonise and form their own dynamics 🎨✨

🎨Yesterday was all about experiencing the creative process and getting rid of perfectionism. It was about feeling, letting go, closing our eyes, trusting our hands and experiencing movement as we twirled around on the field and came back to twirl with paint on our little canvases. We also learnt how grass can be used to paint with 🌱and some kids were fascinated how the canvas smelt like grass. There were lots of thoughts like : “Now I’ll always have Vanuatu grass on my canvas and no one will ever know”… or words like “Hey now my canbas smells like cow”…

Yesterday was definitely fun, vibrant and yet relaxing for all participants.

➡️Next week is our last art class for July and will we continue & complete these little sense memory abstract art pieces.

✨As of next month we’ll be working on term enrolment I’ll put more information out on that during the coming week.

Happy Wednesday ~
As of today I’ve decided to share something personal every midweek here on my business page.

It could be raw, funny real, just a thought or really wacky. So as of today you can expect a “Wacky Wednesday” personal kinda post here at ARTOPiA

So here’s a fun fact : I’m a mom of 5!! Yup and they are all my own biological kids 😉 I get asked that quite a lot.
I got married pretty young ( yes I’m still with the same guy) aaand I have an almost 16 yr old and a 23 month old with a bunch of ages in between.

I get a lot of questions as to how I manage everything and the truth is… I don’t! 🤪

I juggle alot - but over the years I have learnt to plan, to pace myself and to prioritise.

If you’ve been following me you know I am an artist & photographer and also have a performing arts background.
However I became a Life Coach in 2018 for exactly that reason of “juggling too much & burning out”… I had a passion to help stop the ray race of life and the pressure and especially for mothers.
A lot has changed since then ( aka became an Art therapist and German certified Art Teacher).

BUT the truth remains… motherhood is beautiful, messy, challenging and raw. It takes alot to manage one’s family and a business BUT it’s sooo worth it. I’m grinding it at times BUT I am living the dream and it’s a privilege.

What else ?

I love that I can work with children teaching art and also capture precious family moments all the while doing 1:1 art therapy sessions. is a dream come true and it’s just the beginning.

My business and my life go hand in hand… it’s colourful but there are many beautiful calm sunset moments in between all the hustle and bustle.

Oh and I love blueberry 🫐 smoothies… and have not found one as good as my own until I tried out the one from Tanna Coffee shop in DPR !

So blessed and grateful to have Amoremio as our Friday Venue!

It’s wonderful to see the kids play and run before and after ( sometimes durning ) the art classes.

Also it was very sweet to see some children bring smoothie or ice cream pocket money along with them. And especially cute when little 5 yr olds get to order on their own.

Thank our for being such an easy going place for parents to sit and enjoy while their kids are taking the lesson.

Also a huge thank you for putting in the desks and re-functioning the deck to be a multi-purpose space!

Week 2 of our Friday Art Classes

*July is all about “Process Art”
It’s about movement, rhythm, alignment and most of all getting rid of perfectionism and embracing the uniqueness of “your own” art piece.
It’s definitely also about FUN and finding the joy in art. But we are also learning about how to clean our brushes and take care of supplies accompanied by how to work neatly with paint and also to respect one another as we all create together.
Group 2 has space for 5 more kids and is a quieter, more concentrated “advanced” group. If you are interested in enrolling your child we still have space in group 2.
