The man doesn’t know that there is a snake underneath. The woman doesn’t know that there is a stone crushing the man. The woman thinks: “I am going to fall! And I can’t climb because the snake is going to bite me! Why can’t the man use a little more strength and pull me up!” The man thinks: “I am in so much pain! Yet I’m still pulling you as much as I can! Why don’t you try and climb a little harder!?”

The moral is— you can’t see the pressure the other person is under, and the other person can’t see the pain you’re in. This is life, whether it’s with work, family, feelings or friends, we should try to understand each other. Learn to think differently, perhaps more clearly and communicate better. A little thought and patience goes a long way. 💙

My mum bought me this chain when I was 13. She had to pay it off for a year, 12 instalments at £60 a month. At the time I just I thought it was cool and wanted it to fit in with the people I hung round with, they were all older lads and had money and gold etc through money they made themselves. As I grew older I began to realise this bracelet wasn’t easy for my mum to afford at all and that it must have been a lot of money for a single mum with 3 kids, but she just wanted me to be happy even if it was hard for her. I didn’t need the bracelet my mum has always made us happy and tried her best, but I’ll keep this forever to remind me. (Never complain about what your parents couldn’t give you, it was probably all they had) ###

Love is really all that matters because everyone comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love. Think about it. Profession, career, bank account, our goods are just tools, nothing more. Everything stays here. So just love….Love those that really love you. You'd be surprised at how many times a man sits in his car, on his bed, in the bathroom, in the living room and holds in his tears because he’s so stressed or lost or confused or hurt or ready to give up...But when he shows his face again he looks perfectly fine, unbothered and he still manages to smile and go about his business like nothing happened... Men are some of the most resilient, overlooked, and in the mind underappreciated to go through so much... You are the glue that holds everything and everyone together, your very presence is power, when you speak it resonates and yet your silence is deafening... in all that you go thru as you fight for not only who you are but who you are striving to be.
