As a longtime supporter of Bridge Over Troubled Waters, we were proud to sponsor last week’s Karaoke for a Kause benefiting this incredible organization. Thirty years of JC&A means a lot of stories—and plenty of moments. From early projects to today’s work, JC&A has had the opportunity to build for incredible clients and work alongside remarkable partners.

This week, we’re reminiscing about one of our earliest groundbreaking ceremonies. In 1997, the team celebrated breaking ground in Westwood, MA, for Mulbury Childcare—paving the way for many future projects in the academic sector. Since then, we’ve dug our fair share of dirt, marking hundreds of milestones with our signature silver-plated shovels. More recently, one groundbreaking that stands out was our partnership with Rhino Capital at the Business Park at Myles Standish, which marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Taunton’s development.

As a founding member of PLA! Professional Ladies Association, JC&A was thrilled to attend last night’s PLA! After Hours, a private tour of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum! The tour focused on the blend of architecture and art, which was a fantastic segue for fun conversation when the group shared cocktails and hot takes together at the museum café after the tour.

It’s hard to believe that February is coming to an end! At JC&A, we are still feeling the love. Our team had several great opportunities to give back to the community this month, including preparing and delivering bagged lunches for Father Bills shelter, holding an in-office fundraiser to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital and supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters at their “Big Night”! Today, we’re to one of JCAres’ early events, the Boston Heart Walk, benefitting the American Heart Association.

It took 46 years, but to the day, Team USA did it again—no doubt with the spirit of Johnny Gaudreau fully present.

This year’s Olympic gold wasn’t just a win. It was a reminder of what belief, grit, and team-first mentality can produce when it matters most. A new generation carried the moment, but the heart felt familiar.

That feeling brought us back to 2023, when we had the opportunity to hear Jim Craig, goalie of the 1980 “Miracle on Ice,” share his story at the grand opening of our Labs@128 Station project in Westwood, MA. Jim didn’t talk about highlights or headlines—he talked about preparation, pressure, and showing up when expectations say you shouldn’t.

Watching Team USA reclaim gold in 2026 felt like the same story continuing. Different faces. Same mindset.

The podium was painted Red, White, and Blue.

Congrats to all Olympians on an unforgettable Games in Milan, defined by grit, resilience, and moments that will last a lifetime.

Team USA finished with 33 total medals — 12 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze, placing second overall and proving that preparation and belief still win on the world’s biggest stage.

Special shout-out to the men’s and women’s hockey teams, both capturing gold with toughness, heart, and a true team-first mentality.

Do the work. Trust each other. Show up ready.

Philanthropy is woven into the fabric of JC&A, with a core value of “Doing Well by Doing Good”. We are proud to support many local charities and non-profits, including Team IMPACT, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics of MA, the Ellie Fund, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

We had a blast last weekend at Big Brothers Big Sisters “Big Night”, a totally rad evening featuring entertainment from the legendary Pat Benatar with plenty of energy and dancing, delicious food and cocktails, and some great networking, all to support this incredible cause.
