My goal is to leave every client in a healthier and happier state than they were before working with me! My fitness journey began when I was a few years old, carried around the gym by my dad in a milkcrate. Some may say I never stood a chance to not become a total gym rat. As I got older, I began to derive so many lessons from sports and fitness, cultivating discipline, confidence and mental forti
tude along the way. I never tired of pursuing fitness in both my personal and professional life, continually learning more each year. About six years ago my relationship to health and fitness changed entirely, as I began experiencing back pain that caused me to stop working out and leave the fitness industry for a time. I felt that I had lost my career and identity all at once, as I battled daily physical pain and eventually depression after years of not finding a solution. My belief that fitness would save me kept me pushing forward to find a solution, seeking answers from various doctors and specialists. I began cultivating an arsenal of mobility and strength techniques to help manage my pain, slowly building my tolerance to exercise again, a process I am still pursuing daily. Ultimately, my back pain and the solutions I found in fitness taught me my biggest lesson yet: what it was like to be a beginner again. I believe that my back pain has made me an even better health coach than I was before, understanding what it’s like to feel like you are fighting an uphill battle just to be healthier. Through my own fitness journey along with working with clients for the past decade, I am excited to bring you a coaching style driven by empathetic and science based care to help guide you towards better health.
