The price of Tarot Cards has substantially risen. Decks cost anywhere from 20 to 100 dollars. Practical use versus collection. If we are talking unique collection? 100 plus. The last collectors deck I purchased cost me 200. The Rider Waite Deck costing twenty dollars, the same deck 3-5 years ago cost $11. I have noticed most decks has jumped in price 6 to 10 dollars. Sure you can find a deck for 14, and I have. But then we are talking low quality stock among other issues. If you have Tarot decks and do not use them, or want to part with them, do not toss them out and if you are gifted a Tarot Deck appreciate that, for the cost of inflation on such items it is in truth the thought that counts an amazing amount!

5 card draw. 5 of Pentacles 9 of Swords High Priestess, the Hierophant, 7 of Swords.
Here is how this would read:
Starting with the 5 of pentacles, this person seems to be crippled in whatever situation they are in. Perhaps comfortable in a victim mindset, or they literally believe that they have no one to aid them, trapped in a situation they see no release from. However, help is available whether they see it or not. Which brings us to the 9 of swords. This nightmare situation they believe themselves in for whatever reason, they have the control to remove themselves from, the whys they sit idle in this self made nightmare? Who knows. All they need to do is act. Which brings us to the High priestess and the Hierophant, there is this sense of a higher power, being a 'mother being' which controls or controlled a lot of aspects in this persons life. Although they know what they want and desire because they hear their subconscious, it is in there the truths they hide, they choose to ignore it. There is this falsehood of doing what is right, which has beat this person down. Whether they truly believe it or not, it is the social norm of the proper religious right or wrong. However, things aren't what they seem. This person is stuck in whatever environment they choose to remain stuck in, yet they are portraying things to the outside world that is very much false in their inside world.

Today we have the 9 of Wands with the Star.
Although some of us are feeling weary we find away to have that inner strength to keep moving. To some it may seem that we thrive in the conditions we are in because we persevere. But we struggle, don't we. We keep fighting the fight not knowing whether we will give in, or win. But the star is right there. He can see it, there's hope if we continue a little longer, it's not so much patience but willpower.
Whatever has been causing this upheaval will eventually subside, or at least lesson to a manageable level.
The collective number on this is 8, we purely continue because of our egos, mind over matter. There's this need to recoup, regenerate, this is an absolute decision maker.

This is a unique Tarot Deck gifted to me. I will show how it works, reading it as a daily pull.

The Fool.
5 of Wands
2 of Swords
5 of Cups

There seems to be a bit of a struggle on decisions being made on your part, you are at a crossroads of sorts. Whatever this issue is, is making it to where you cannot spread your wings and fly. Your stalling is causing a lack of freedom that you desire.
It seems the cause of some of the dilemma is your focus on looking at things negatively instead of trying to find where the decision you need to make will free you. Whether you are blind by choice or not, this is causing an issue in your day to day life.
One should come at the decisions and choices at hand logically and feel the emotions that you need to make the right decision for you so you can move forward and embark on the journey you seem to be holding deciding on.
The collective number on this is three, so this is heavy on your personal growth and the desire to manifest the things you have already put into your head.

Todays card is the five of swords representing Venus in Aquarius, the element of air. Venus the planet representing love, harmony, balance, and pleasure. This card representing Aquarius who usually by nature is rather settled and laid back is conflicting with this card. This is a perfect example of the doubled edged sword scenario. This card is a card of tension and conflict.
In numerology this card is associated with change, uncertainty, conflict and a struggle. This card depicts a battle between foes the defeated and the victors. However, it has subtle meanings I will delve into this.
Depending on the question and surrounding cards the querent can be the victor or the defeated. Even as a victor their win most likely was not gained honorably which may cause a confliction in their thoughts either now or later. Wins gotten by ill gotten gains can sometimes come back to haunt you, causing guilt. So in this case winning is not always a great feat, as the loss may also be what was in your better interest.
When you see this card depending where you are, you may need to re evaluate your situation, or consider your motives. When this card is in it's reversed position it shines the brightest. Conflict are using resolved, grudges should be begone, there is a possibility for reconnection and healing. Fences are mended lessons are learned.
As a person they may be extremely competitive.
This is ironic pull today, but when the universe talks it talks, as I have brought to the forefront education of the disorder of Sociopathy lately. As a person this card would depict a person of that nature, as well as many other mental illness' in the genre of personality disorders. This card represents someone who is good with words, witty, and intellectual, on both the negative and positive side. The type that struggles with inner turmoil and conflict, with no happiness in day-to-day life, a person who finds difficulty expressing their feelings. For a card representing the element air the person this card depicts is most certainly a handful, a fire cracker, yet sadly deep down they feel worthless and useless.
As a daily: Mind your words, remember that winning at all costs can come back and bite you, think of your motivation. Sometimes being triumphant does not make us the winner. Standing up for ourselves is sometimes necessary, but consider how you do this. Use your logic before you take action. Your action can always be there, but what good is a win if it causes you distress later.
