We have been living in baby bliss for 6 weeks now with our perfect Lainey Jaye! We are very excited to be ending this year as parents and parting ways with our IVF journey. We will forever be advocating for those with infertility and providing support in every way we can.

The boys have been keeping a secret and they are so proud to let you all know that that they will soon be big brothers! Our last little embryo is hanging around and hopefully come early October will be keeping these boys busy!

For those who didn’t see the update on my personal page… we have miscarried again. This time at 8 weeks. I have a D&C scheduled. This is our third miscarriage in 16 months and we are completely broken. We will be taking a much needed break from social media and the journey to heal. Please refrain from replying with your recommendations for our next steps, thank you.

Acupuncture and progesterone shot are done and now I just keep myself busy so I can hopefully get some sleep tonight! Transfer day is tomorrow!

We go in this Wednesday for our next monitoring appointment. Never thought I would be so happy to be taking estrogen as now my hot flashes are gone and I rediscovered what it’s like to sleep. We are getting so close to our transfer date! Let’s hope my lining looks good!

We have been quiet on here for longer than planned and we apologize. We have been busy with the new doctor and planning for transfer #3. It took over 2 months of several phone calls, emails, faxes and drives to the north side to get our embryos to the new clinic. I (Marci) has been busy trying to find the best treatment plan for my PCOS and Endometriosis with help from a naturopathic doctor. I am now gluten and dairy free, and have amped up my supplements. I have also been doing acupuncture which we all know is a big step for me with my ”love” for needles. Our IVF doctor has had me on hormone suppression which lowers my estrogen levels to treat my endometriosis. I am counting down the days until I take my last pill so I can hopefully say goodbye to the night sweats, being hot or freezing at all times, insomnia and brain fog. I also joined a local support group and have met some amazing women who just get it. We have welcome two babies in our friends circle and I love holding those sweet boys every chance I get. I keep telling Trent the more I hold them maybe my uterus and ovaries will figure out on how to do their jobs. After Christmas we will start the process of starting Transfer #3 and we are praying for this to finally be our time! I am planning on sharing more of the process this time so that hopefully the next couple that experiences this doesn’t feel so alone. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

IVF update: During my surgery recovery we took the time to get some second opinions. In our 30 minute consult with a doctor I was provided more information and options for my body than I have in over 2 years. We are now in the process of switching clinics. After an ultrasound with our new doctor today we learned even more just how complicated my body is. Due to what she saw I am going to be doing daily injections for a couple months to suppress my hormones then reevaluate from there. Just praying my body will finally get it right this time around.

IVF path update: today I had two surgeries to look for Endometriosis and check out my uterus again. They found some mild Endometriosis and did some biopsies of some other areas. Uterus looked good. Now we wait for biopsy results and I rest for the next few days.

Update on our IVF path:
We had transfer #2 on March 4th. Again it was successful but sadly ended in a miscarriage on March 30th. Next steps are a couple surgeries for me that take place in July. Let’s hope these will bring us a step closer to our endgame. We appreciate the love, support and space our tribe has given us.

Sorry we have been silent. We are taking much needed time to heal from the miscarriage and working with our doctors on next steps. We appreciate the continued love and support!

For those who have not heard here is an update on our IVF path.
Our transfer was successful and we were blissfully pregnant. However, our first ultrasound revealed we were likely not having a viable pregnancy. Two ultrasounds and lots of rollercoaster emotions later we were officially given the news that I miscarried. Now we do more tests and wait. We have been hit hard with this news and are doing our best to move forward. I cannot lie it’s been completely devastating. We thank everyone for their support and continue to welcome prayers.
