Our little patient came through surgery in Hagen to repair damaged sustained after a fall onto a bamboo stake. He has been making a good recovery and has been discharged from the hospital. Hopefully he will be cleared to return home next week. Thank you for your prayers.

Update on two patients. Snake bite patient made a full recovery. Child sent by plane is being prepped for surgery tomorrow. Please pray for him and his family and the Drs. operating.

After the evacuation of a small boy injured by an accidental fall onto a piece of bamboo this afternoon we now have another young snake bite victim this evening please pray with us for these two little ones from our neighboring village and their families.

Update: The child who was being treated for a snake bite has made a full recovery and has been discharged from the hospital. Thanks to all who gave their time and prayers!

Update on the child with a death adder bite: Our clinic team met the Boram hospital team around midnight. Antivenom was given and the child and parents were taken on into the hospital for further treatment. We will give a final update when we get more information. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Tonight as the sun was going down a little boy was bitten by a death adder. Our clinic staff are working to prepare him for a trip down the river where we hope he will meet medical staff from Boram hospital who are traveling over the bumpy road with anitvenom in an attempt to help him. Please pray that God will intervene tonight for this family! Thanks so much to all of you who are helping in this effort from the medical staff to the stretcher bearers and boat and car drivers and those of you praying with us.
