A historic breakthrough at CHH HI Cath Lab!
We proudly celebrate the first successful Intravascular coronary lithotripsy (IVL) performed in the Visayas-Mindanao region — a significant step forward in advancing cardiac care and redefining excellence in interventional cardiology.

This achievement was made possible under the leadership of Dr. Walter Acusar, together with the dedicated heart team: Dr. Kent Tan, Dr. Carlo Buaya, Dr. Claudia Rafanan, and Dr. Bernadette Halasan, along with the unwavering support of our hardworking staff.
