I love meal prepping because I like being prepared for anything that the week throws at me! It’s easy to get sidetracked and have to resort to ‘take out’ when you have nothing in the fridge.
Here are my top tips for prepping for the week.
🔸 Choose a lean protein, complex carb, and healthy fat that your family loves.
🔸 Cook the protein and complex carb in bulk and keep them in sealed containers in the fridge.
🔸 Have the healthy fat handy to flavor the foods.
🔸 Alternate spices and side dishes to keep the meals interesting.
🔸 Change the protein and complex carb option every week to diversify your food.
If you follow these tips, you will never have to worry about ordering pizza or Chinese food because you will always have food ready to go in the fridge!
