Two weeks of downtime over the holidays gave me the gift of reflection, relaxation, and a chance to rewrite my vision for 2025. With fresh clarity and purpose, I know this year will be filled with what truly lights me up: Yoga, Coaching, Speaking, Wellness Events, and Growing my Membership Community.

We’re only 4 classes into 2025, and my heart is already so full! Seeing my students this week reminded me of the beauty in showing up for yourself and being curious about life’s journey.

This year, I challenge you to dive deeper into what brings you happiness and joy. Take a moment to journal and reflect:
• What sparks your heart?
• What lights your soul on fire?
• How can you bring more of that into your life?

Allow yourself the freedom to explore, dream, and align your life with what feels truly empowering.

Empowered Wellbeing was born from my own healing journey through sexual abuse, inner child trauma, and depression. I am embracing this path boldly and am excited to announce our new focus! We're now specializing in Trauma-Informed Yoga, supporting women survivors of sexual abuse and those facing inner child trauma, divorce, anxiety, and depression.

As a trauma survivor, I have silently struggled with being overweight, fear, and anxiety and much more . My health and wellness journey has been absolutely transformational, and I am here now to offer holistic support through yoga and meditation for trauma survivors. I’m Preparing for a podcast interview and I was reminded of the 8 limbs of yoga. Yoga extends beyond the asanas/postures. Isvara Pranishana one of its meanings is to surrender and let go. Opening up to what is and being flexible to life’s changes. Remaining fixed and rigid in our conditioned patterns, habits and limitations only leads to a limited life. Surrendering is hugely challenging, because it means transcending the ego, and the ego will do everything it can to hold on to some control. Surrendering to what is requires trust in our deepest Self, our intuition and the courage to express ourselves for who we are, as we are, with all of our perfect imperfections, which ultimately leads to freedom. In what ways can you surrender more?

October’s yoga class theme is standing strong and rooted in your power never allow anything outside of you try to break you. Remember to stand even in disappointments, stand even in life challenges. Stand firm and believe in your power and know who you are.
