Its December
And the trees are bare.
Listen
The seeds are dreaming
And below the below
The journey is wild and rooted
Gnarled and medicinal.

It's not a hibernation for all beings
And some who hear the call
Have already pounced.

The poems are dancing
And the seeds are digging deeper
into the earth like lovers.

Dont be fooled by what is bare.
In case you cant follow the twisty line
Of ancient stories

Hear this:
Tis the season
to bare your hunger to the earth

Tis a different sort of death than what you tasted in november.
Tis the rebirthing kind.
And Cernunnos is the midwife.

It's not about destination.
Let go of thinking your way through.

Embody the sacred girth and grit of it.

Enter the portal of the wild remembering.

"To love someone long-term is to attend a thousand funerals of the people they used to be.

The people they're too exhausted to be any longer.

The people they don't recognize inside themselves anymore.

The people they grew out of, the people they never ended up growing into.

We so badly want the people we love to get their spark back when it burns out; to become speedily found when they are lost.

But it is not our job to hold anyone accountable to the people they used to be.

It is our job to travel with them between each version and to honor what emerges along the way.

Sometimes it will be an even more luminescent flame.

Sometimes it will be a flicker that disappears and temporarily floods the room with a perfect and necessary darkness."

“We often fear that the Revolution needed is too big for what we can give.
Too much change is required inside, outside.
And we are too small.
But all that is required is that you step into the truth of your life.
And speak it, write it, paint it, dance it.
That you shine your light on your truth, for the world to see.
And as hundreds, then thousands, then millions do this – each sparking the courage of yet more –
Suddenly we have a world alight with truth.”

Be around the light bringers,
the magic makers, the world shifters,
the game shakers.
They challenge you,
break you open,
uplift and expand you.
They don't let you play small with your life.
These heartbeats are your people.
These people are your tribe.

~Permission.

You have permission to inhabit your own life.
To say no
To say yes.
To inhabit your own knowing
Your own body,
And all you allow or do not allow
within it.

To love who you love.
To feel.
To inhabit anger,
contentment,
joy. And heavy sorrow.
To be full of strength,
and to know weakness.

Permission to stand for something. Or to walk away.
To find rest. To tell your story.
To give or take what is yours,
And to never explain why you leave --
Or why you stay.

You have permission, grand permission,
to have a voice. And to use it.
And to let others have theirs too.
To add your voice to the Grand Mosaic,
Your brilliant tile to humanity,
and not be silenced.

You have permission to tell the truth
and to let others tell theirs. Or to be in quiet.
To choose to engage in the old wars
To win the game. To lose it,
or to stand firm.
--Or to find something higher.

To know. --When to listen,
Or when to be cracked open.
To let the silver spores of being infuse your life
Or to watch your tender soul unfurl,
and come to flower.

You have permission to be Wild. So wild
To live in, under, to live *through*.
To experience belief. And what it is to follow.
To Lead,
Or to gather all you own, your whole being, if need be,
and take up your sacred path.

You have permission to live in your full truth today,
Even if it that truth is gone, tomorrow.
To be reborn.
Stunned like a babe, gasping from the womb,
only to find rest in the warmth and soft breast
of new Knowing.

You have permission to follow the call of your soul --
Even if it doesn't make sense.
Even if it is inconvenient.
Even if it only forms more questions --
Even if it only brings you freedom,
Or a heavy burden.

For you are not a herd beast.
*You are a Being of Light*
Individuating your way out of the sleeping tribe.
You are an archangel, exalted to human,
Spreading the great arms of your wings
into Life.

You are a Boat Builder,
A Clock Maker,
A Worker at the Compass.
Full of beauty. Complexity,
and magnificent contradiction.

You, my dear, are a Singer of the Soul.

Never,
Ever,
ask for permission.

As we prepare for our upcoming free online event, GRAND MĂ„ OFFERING: A Circle of Support, we will be featuring each of the Grandmothers causes, projects and organizations as per their guidance and instruction.

At this moment, we are inviting you to circle up in prayer and support of our beloved Grandmother Aama Bombo and her family, as she prepares to transition to the Spirit world. We ask you to hold her and her family in your thoughts and prayers for her comfort and peace, in sacred reciprocity as she has devoted her life-long service to the healing of humanity. Funds raised will go directly into Grandmother Aama’s Life Legacy Fund, supporting her current medical expenses, care-giving, end of life celebration and funeral costs, and her Life Legacy Fund causes.

Aama Bombo is a founding member of the International Council of Thirteen indigenous Grandmothers, she has been a vital part of the council's mission. Buddhi Maya Lama, also known as Aama Bombo, is a shaman in the Nepalese Tamang tradition. In Tamang Aama means mother and Bombo means shaman. Tamang people are all of Tibetan origin. Grandmother Amma was born in a small village in Nepal. After she was married, at age fifteen, she moved to Kathmandu. At the age of 25, Aama started shivering strongly. She could not eat and kept shivering for fourteen months. After seeing a Tamang shaman she understood that her dead father was manifesting through her. She was on a long initiation path before she began to practice as a healer. She is one of the first female shamans among the Tamang people and sees around 50 to 75 people a day at her home, near the Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. Grandmother Aama teaches about the Tamang traditions, spirituality, faith and healing.

Please join the Grandmothers and our global community in prayer for our dear spiritual teacher and elder, Grandmother Aama Bombo.

Thank you to all that have supported so far we are so grateful! 🙏🏽

Courage fosters a feeling of self-worth. Every time I walk through fear, the universe cheers! It knows my courage is born of a willingness to explore my life fully, to take risks, fall down and then get back up. Every courageous step forward proclaims, “I am worthy.” The universe hears me, and perhaps most importantly, I hear myself.

A WORLD WATER DAY MESSAGE FROM MONA POLACCA đź’§

We live in water in our mother’s womb. Moments before we come into this world, the water of our mother’s womb gushes out, and we follow behind. That is why the Hopi call water our first foundation of life.

It is no coincidence that the Earth has the same percentage of water as the human body does.

It is also not a coincidence that, as the sacred waters of the planet - Mother Earth’s blood - are becoming dangerously polluted, we are at the same time forgetting our innate connection to the Sacred Universe, the only understanding that will save us.

If we consciously greet the water as we drink and bathe in it, for instance, we begin to have a relationship with water.

We know the Creator can bless us with answers through water. That element can help us with understanding. The more we honor and feel gratitude toward water, the greater the assistance we will receive from it in our lives.

Because of our connection to the elements, we also have the capacity to heal the waters, just as the waters can heal us.

Quantum physics is proving what indigenous people have known all along, that prayer can change the pollution in the waters. The Grandmothers pray every day for the waters of the Earth to become purified again.

Water Blessing from the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers:

Instructions

đź’§Prepare a bowl of clean water or stand beside a body of water.

đź’§Please pray for the water in apology; for polluting and disrespect. Then offer prayers of love, gratitude and respect.

đź’§Hold both of your hands toward the water, from your heart your energy will be projected into the water through your hands. You can close your eyes during this process.

đź’§Please intend that the vibrations, which now fill the water, will spread to the waters all over our Mother Earth.

đź’§You may also add your own prayer to the water, meditation, chanting, music, songs, dancing, and so on, intending the same purpose.

đź’§Pour a little bit of the water in your hand, with a loving thought, sprinkle a little water away from you (as in spreading seeds), then drink the remaining water with a feeling of gratitude.

We thank all those who join us as we pray for the life of water for our future generations.

All through history, tears have [symbolically and actually]
done three works:

called the spirits to one’s side,

repelled those who would bind the simple soul,

and healed the injuries of poor human bargains.

There are times in a woman’s life when she cries and cries and cries, and even though she may have the succor and support of her loved ones,
still she cries.

Something in this crying keeps the predator away, keeps away unhealthy desire or gain that will ruin her.

Tears are part of the mending of rips in the psyche where energy has leaked away. The matter is serious, but the worst does not occur—our light is not stolen—for tears make us conscious. There is no chance to go back to sleep when one is weeping...

Sometimes a woman says, “I am tired of crying, I want it to stop.” But it is her soul that is making tears, and they are her protection. So she must keep on till the time of need is over.

Some women marvel at all the water their bodies can produce when they weep.

It will not last forever,
only till the soul is done with its wise expression.

"It is that holy poetry and singing we are after. We want powerful words and songs that can be heard underwater and over land. It is the wild singing we are after, our chance to use the wild language we are learning by heart under the sea. When a woman speaks her truth, fires up her intention and feeling, staying tight with the instinctive nature, she is singing, she is living in the wild breath-stream of the soul. To live this way is a cycle in itself, one meant to go on, go on, go on."
