Happy Mother’s Day 💐
Today is for every kind of mom.
Para sa mga recipients namin who used s***m donation — whether you’ve conceived na or still trying — please know this: motherhood doesn’t start sa day na naging successful ang insemination. It starts sa araw na pinili mong maging nanay. The moment you said, “Ready na ko, I want this, mag ta try na ko” That’s when you became part of the mom community.
It shouldn’t be a day just for mothers who gave birth. Every day in this world, there are mothers who are made by circumstances. Who became a mom not just by giving birth, but by sharing their love. Para rin ’to sa mga stepmoms, moms na nag adopt, at ate na naging second nanay. Sa mga yaya na inaalagaan at minamahal ang mga alaga nila na parang tunay nilang anak. Sa mga fur moms at cat moms, who give unconditional love to their furbabies. You all show the same kind of love and care as all moms do.
And of course, to all women who are trying so hard to conceive — you who are battling infertility, going through the appointments, the disappointments, and still showing up full of hope… you are already mothers in our eyes. Also, the ones who lost their babies, you are not alone. Even without a child yet, you are already part of the community. You’ve shown resilience and dedication to your future children — and that is what motherhood is all about.
And totoo lang. One day isn't enough.
Because moms work 24/7 — walang pahinga, walang day off.
You all deserve to be seen, appreciated, and celebrated every day. You are a mom from the moment you decide to become a one, hanggang dulo ng buhay mo.
