Let’s make looking at food feel like play—not pressure. A scavenger hunt is a hit with neurodivergent children who need slow, safe food exposure.

✅ Great for sensory desensitisation
✅ Increases curiosity, not pressure
✅ You can use toys, play food or real food!

👀 Just exploring is a big step.

What does success really look like?

For me, it’s not money. It’s not popularity.

It’s being able to do what I love — supporting families, helping children feel safe around food, and creating work that serves a greater purpose. 🙏

Success is showing up every day with intention, staying aligned with my values, and knowing I’m walking the path God has called me to. 💛

It’s the quiet wins. The unseen faithfulness. The moments that might not make headlines but matter deeply.

📣 I'd love to hear from you –

🌭 “You don’t have to force the burger.”

Summer BBQs sound great—until your child cries at the smell of smoke, refuses to touch grilled food, and ends up eating plain crackers.

This isn’t you failing. It’s sensory overload in full swing.
The heat, the noise, the unpredictability... It’s a lot for a neurodivergent brain.

✨ Here’s your reminder:

They can eat something different

You don’t owe anyone an explanation

Their comfort is more important than matching the menu

When Nuala first got in touch, she was completely overwhelmed.
Her daughter’s very limited diet was causing stress at every mealtime — and it was starting to affect her younger child too.

But within just a few weeks of working together, things began to shift.
✅ Less stress
✅ More variety
✅ Confidence to keep going

They even managed family meals on holiday — something she used to avoid entirely.

I’m gonna be that person for a second… but HOW is it August already?! 😅
Anyone else feel like summer’s flying by?

There’s still plenty happening over here, and I’m heading into the month feeling a mix of excitement and “how is it half of the summer over already?!”

Here’s what I’ve got coming up this month 👇
⚡️ Wrapping up my Beyond the Plate summer programme—it’s been such a joy to support these families through the ups and downs of sensory eating 💛
⚡️ Going LIVE with the amazing Jade on 29th August to share sensory-friendly back-to-school tips (mark your diary!)
⚡️ Finishing up with some 1:1 clients who’ve made incredible progress in just a few months—so proud of them!
⚡️ Welcoming new bespoke clients into the mix and getting stuck into their feeding journeys

I’d love to know—what are YOU looking forward to in August? Or what’s one thing you’d love to feel proud of by the end of the month?

🥄 Mealtime Stress? It Doesn’t Have to Be This Way!

Simran’s 19-month-old refused food, making every meal a battle. The stress was overwhelming, and she worried about her daughter’s nutrition.

With the right approach, patience, and a step-by-step plan, we turned things around.
✨ Six months later, her daughter eats with the family, enjoys a variety of foods, and mealtimes are no longer a source of stress.

If you’re feeling stuck in the fussy eating cycle, I promise there’s a way forward. 💛
Drop a support in the comments – let’s make mealtimes easier!
