Over the weekend, the Mental Health Movement, led by our Board Chair and Founder, had the opportunity to deliver a Men’s Mental Health talk to the Let’s Walk Ndola Community. This community is dedicated to raising awareness about men’s mental health throughout the month of June, in conjunction with the global initiative.

The theme of the week was "It's okay not to be okay ❤️ " a key message for the MHM community.

We invite you to join us this weekend as we celebrate men's mental health and engage in meaningful discussions.🫶

THEY HAVE BECOME ‼️

Good evening family,

We hope you are well,

Today is a memorable day for the Mental Health Matters Movement CBU-SOM. Because today , two of our own , have joined the ranks and graduated from the Copperbelt University.

Richard Chama Is a founding member and past president for the movement. Under his leadership, the movement made tremendous strides and created visible prints in the mental health space.

Pious Simfukwe Jr. Is a founding member and our immediate past head of education and research. He has a heart for mental health as evidenced by his eventual authoring a book focused on mental health.

These two giants , came to the institution with a dream , today , that dream has been actualized. We are confident that even as they join the society as graduates they will continue being mental health champions as they have always been,

Please join us as we congratulate them and wishing them well in their future endeavors,

Kind regards,

Erick Mudenda IV

Club President

Happy Feel Good Friday MHM Family ❤️
As you are rewinding and reflecting on how your week has been, your failures and your successes.MHM is here to remind you to give yourself a little grace.
Don’t let your failures and losses define you.
Today affirm yourself. You are stronger than you think.
Look at you pushing through the tough days.
You are smart and able bodied.
Incase you have forgotten your capabilities,MHM is here to remind you of how capable YOU are.

MHM is here for YOU
MHM cares for YOU🫵🏾

A wonderful good evening to you all the CBU-SOM family,

We trust that you are all well.

As the term 1 assessments are drawing to a close , mixed feelings may be in the air. What if the outcome won't be so favourable?, what if you won't measure up ? What if you will?

Thoughts though usually undermined, have a powerful effect on our well being, inclusive of our mental health. So , what if you turn every negative thought into a positive one ? What if you put in all the work humanly possible and believe that it will all work out , and what is if does actually work out?

The only sure way to know is to keep going, to push just one more time,

Give optimism a chance, and see how everything just falls in place ,

We as the Mental Health Matters Movement CBU-SOM Executive believe that you can,

We are together in this ,

Together we shall ,

Yours ever in belief ,

Erick Mudenda
Club President
