Here’s the top 5 things I’d start with to balance my hormones!
1. Hydrate! Make sure your water has minerals for maximum impact. I use @tracemineralsresearch and @drinklmnt
2. Eat protein! Start the day with 30 grams of high quality protein!
3 move your body. A walk after a meal is so wonderful for insulin regulation
4. Get some sunlight in your eyes. 10-15 mins of sunlight in the morning is amazing for regulating the circadian cycle
5. Manage your stress. Find something that works for you. Stress is always gonna be here we just have to learn ways to help our body to calm down and not think we are always being chased by a bear! I love breath work for this. Mindfulness, meditation, mantras, laughing, exercising, playing with kids whatever works!

The different colors found in fruits and vegetables are because of specific phytonutrients. So each color indicates an abundance of specific nutrients.
Red: Lycopene and ellagic acid. These powerful nutrients have been studied for their cancer-fighting effects and other health benefits.
Orange and yellow: Vitamin C and carotenoids, like beta-carotene (That can be converted to vitamin A). So vitally important for immune health and fetal development!
Green: Folate, Lutein, isothiocyanates, isoflavones, and Vitamin K!. These can play a very important role in fetal development and maternal health.
Blue and purple: Anthocyanins and resveratrol, these help prevent damage from oxidative stress and inflammation.
White and brown produce may not be as brightly colored as other foods, but they still are a healthy choice and have phytonutrients.
Self-care involves taking deliberate actions to meet our physical, mental, and emotional needs, and it helps us restore balance, reduce stress, and prevent burnout. Here are some key reasons why self-care is important:
1. Physical Health: Attending to our physical needs such as exercise, eating well, getting enough sleep, boosts our energy levels, strengthens our immune system, and reduces the risk of various health problems.
2. Mental and Emotional Well-being: Taking time for ourselves allows us to recharge, relax, and engage in activities that bring us joy and fulfillment. It helps us cultivate a positive mindset, enhance self-esteem, and build resilience to cope with life’s challenges.
3. Improved Relationships: By taking care of ourselves, we can show up as our best selves in our interactions with others. We have more energy, patience, and emotional availability to engage with loved ones, fostering stronger connections and improving the quality of our relationships.
4. Increased Productivity: with rest, and engagement in activities that rejuvenate us, we can return to our tasks with renewed focus, creativity, and motivation.
5. Stress Management: It allows us to relax, unwind, and release tension, which can have long-term benefits for our physical and mental health.
6. Setting Boundaries: Practicing self-care involves setting healthy boundaries and learning to prioritize our own needs. By establishing clear boundaries, we can protect our time, energy, and resources, allowing us to create a healthier balance between work, relationships, and personal time.
Self-care is essential for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. By prioritizing our own well-being, we can better navigate the challenges and demands of daily life while fostering a sense of fulfillment, resilience, and self-compassion.

Estrogen dominance can wreak havoc on the body, leading to symptoms such as weight gain, mood swings, low energy, menstrual irregularities, and more.
Estrogen dominance is not always just an excess of estrogen. We have to understand the mechanism in the WHY to get solutions.
1️⃣ Excessive Estrogen Production: Estrogen dominance can occur when the body produces an excessive amount of estrogen. This can happen due to various factors, including increased aromatase activity, which converts androgens into estrogen, and excessive adipose tissue (fat cells), which can produce estrogen.
2️⃣ Xenoestrogens: Environmental factors can introduce synthetic estrogen-like compounds known as xenoestrogens into our bodies. These chemicals can be found in plastics, pesticides, herbicides, personal care products, and more. Xenoestrogens can mimic the effects of estrogen, leading to an imbalance between estrogen and progesterone.
3️⃣ Reduced Progesterone Levels: Estrogen and progesterone are two important hormones that work in harmony. Progesterone balances the effects of estrogen in the body. When progesterone levels are low, relative to estrogen levels, it can contribute to estrogen dominance. This imbalance can occur due to factors like stress, aging, or anovulatory cycles (cycles where ovulation doesn’t occur).
4️⃣ Impaired Estrogen Metabolism: Estrogen metabolism involves the conversion of estradiol (the primary form of estrogen) into different metabolites. If the metabolism process is compromised, such as insufficient detoxification in the liver, estrogen may not be adequately broken down and eliminated from the body, leading to its accumulation.
