Pride Source is actively seeking talented writers who want to create meaningful work that reaches real audiences.

Now more than ever, it's critical that we tell q***r stories. In an era where LGBTQ+ people are facing escalating political attacks simply for existing, we need to amplify the full spectrum of our community's voices — the joyful, the serious, the defiant, the everyday. Our stories are our resistance, our visibility and our power.

We're planning our 2026 special issues and looking for voices that bring fresh perspectives to our community. Whether you're an emerging writer or established journalist, we want to hear from you.

Recorded at the Passenger Recovery Community Center during the Hamtramck Neighborhood Arts Festival, Nick and Marko explained the history of the Bandura while playing the traditional songs of the kobzars for a truly special afternoon of music.
