UNMC is researching a non-drug, home-use medical device that may reduce anxiety. The device is worn and provides a tingling stimulation to the skin.
To be eligible.
- You must be diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- At least 19 years of age
- Wear the device two times a day for 30 minutes

Our goal is to develop ways to help patients and doctors maximize health, safety, and quality of life. We will collect information on individuals’ driving, health, sleep, and mobility.

UNMC Researchers plan to enroll 104 children ages 10-18 with disruptive behavior and mood disorders for a research study. This study uses a combination of brain imaging and oxytocin or placebo nasal spray to look for signals in the brain areas that may be responsible for irritability. The hope to see if there is improvement in the children's moods and behaviors from the oxytocin nasal spray as well as observable changes with the brain imaging.
