"What is cerebral visual impairment (CVI)?
CVI is the most common cause of visual impairment in children in the developed world, affecting up to 1 in 30 in mainstream classrooms and three-quarters of children with cerebral palsy. It doesn’t always mean a child is blind - instead, it means their brain has difficulty processing the information their eyes take in."

Empower learners with CVI with accessible games and activities designed for clear visuals, simplified interfaces, and switch access compatibility.

At the same time, our systems have improved in their ability to identify and support those who have long been overlooked."

Overall; numbers are not rising, it is our understanding of autism that has become more advanced, which is a good thing.

A Statement from Autism Alliance of Canada | April 2025 Autism is not an epidemic. It is not a disease. It is not caused by vaccines. And it is certainly not something to be feared. Yet recent discourse — influenced by misinformation circulating in the United States — has reignited harmful myths...
