Throwing some light on Pulses on World Pulses Day.

You don't have to eat cereals and pulses in the same meal.

Proteins-which our bodies need to make everything from new muscle to hormones-are made up of different combinations of 20 amino acids.

Thing is, our bodies can make only 11 of these amino acids; we must get the other 9 from food.

Animal-based protein-rich foods like eggs and meat provide all nine of these "essential" amino acids, but nearly all plant foods are low in at least one.

Experts used to say that to get what your body needs to make proteins, you needed to pair plant-based foods with complementary sets of amino acids-like cereals and pulses. Now it is known that you don't have to eat those foods at the same meal. If you get a variety of foods throughout the day, they all go into the ‘basket' of amino acids that are available for the body to use.

If you're thinking about slogging away on the treadmill for hours or hitting back-to-back spin classes in an effort to lose weight fast, you're just wasting your time—and overexerting yourself for no reason!
Research has proved time and time again that while exercise can help boost weight loss, shedding pounds is primarily due to diet.
Exercise accounts for very little of your total energy expenditure, and it's hard to create a significant calorie deficit through exercise. Since working out has a ton of health benefits not related to weight loss, keep hitting the gym, just don't overdo it.

Yes excessive stress can cost you more weight. Evidence is mounting that stress, and particularly, an increase of the glucocorticoid stress hormone cortisol plays a role in the development of obesity. High levels of cortisol can increase appetite with a preference for “comfort food” and cause white adipose tissue to redistribute to the abdominal region, which may ultimately lead to abdominal obesity.
Other factors include-
- Medications like corticosteroid, antipsychotics, antidepressants, beta blockers.
- Unhealthy Lifestyle like eating alot of unhealthy food, not having a proper sleeping time or sleep deprevation, and lack of exercise.
- Consuming excessive Intoxicants like alcohol, drugs, smoking (cessation)
-Having obesity related genes or some endocrine disorders.

Are you planning to eat this for the rest of your life? Then your weight loss plan should not tell you otherwise.
It's all about portion control and smart choices, not about jeopardizing your whole eating pattern.
Eat things that are available in the market easily or are farm fresh, don't run after something that's not even easily accessible.
Diet is all about developing a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable and affordable, anything otherwise is not worth your time and efforts.

Alot of people ask me that what can I eat to loose belly fat faster, something that can help get rid of this problem, can I drink green tea and get rid of it? The answer is No. It's a process and just drinking green tea or including one such food in your routine diet won't help you reach anywhere, yes if included along with a proper approach those Super-Foods can help you boost the process.

🙇 Why is diet even required?- Your present state is a result of your diet and lifestyle to a major extent. Now if you have any issues regarding your health it is importance to make changes in your diet and lifestyle in order to bring back the balance.
🕵️ What can I do about it?- Your go to Diet is eating what is right for you, the amount that is required by your body in order to function at it's best. Don't look at it like something which restricts and limits, rather it's more about nourishing and progressing towards a healthy life. Abundance and lack is both a bane on oneself, balance is what we strive for.

Your Go to Diet.

Food is such a resource that is very diverse with many variants of specific kind. Different types of foods are eaten in different regions of the world and it's one common thing in our lives. You may buy food from a organic store, supermarket, or a local farm market, healthy choices will add upto good nutrition and make a huge difference.

Nutrition is not difficult, it is the easiest gift you can give yourself. And believe me, right and healthy food is a form of blessing you're giving yourself because everything else in your life is dependent on that in some way or another.
