Do you ever find yourself thinking about all the things you should or could be doing?

➡️ 🤩 What if you flip the script and think about all the things you ARE doing?! Imagine the sense of pride and belief in yourself that you might feel?!

Let’s hear it!! Feel free to share in the comments - let’s celebrate any and all efforts that you’re making!!

I believe that you are capable of doing whatever daunting thing you are facing. Sure, there might be a learning curve, challenges (sometimes huge), tough emotions and some mistakes along the way.

If you're thinking, "what if I can't...", I encourage you to try thinking "what if I CAN..." and see what happens. 🫶

The great news is that with small, consistent efforts you can strengthen your heart and manage risk factors in amazing ways!! Be sure to visit your doctor regularly for preventative care and follow up on any risk factors that might be identified. ❤️

Moving throughout the day can improve how you feel. I often hear, “but I don’t have the energy or time to exercise”. Hear me out - when you start moving your body more often, you’ll start to have more energy and are more likely to create the time. You’ll also BELIEVE in yourself to eventually do more. SMALL ACTIONS TRULY LEAD TO RESULTS. Trust me on this.

Here’s one way to get started or re-started 😉:
➡️ Pick a movement (example, squats or push-ups)
➡️ Choose how many you can commit to doing even on your hardest day. ONE squat or push-up is perfectly acceptable!
➡️ COMMIT to doing that one effort each day.

See how that goes. When it feels easy to maintain, add to it! GRADUALLY.

‼️ I hear you, “but, Jen really? Just one rep?” YEP! Whatever it takes for you to get in the routine of DOING. Of showing up for yourself, following through with your plan and doing the darn thing!

You can always do more, but LEARNING TO SHOW UP FOR YOURSELF, REGULARLY, IS A HABIT IN AND OF ITSELF.

Every effort counts!
You got this! 💚

Wishing you love, happiness and MOVEMENT today!

This quote is one that inspires me and I try to keep these words in mind as a reminder to not only live with passion, but to keep a sense of humor and compassion - for others and myself. Admittedly, when I look at this photo, it reminds me of an absolutely stunning day, hiking with the love of my life. What it doesn’t show is all that I overcame to get to that point. That’s a story for another day. 😉 Each of us has a story that brings us to where we are today. Honoring that journey and meeting yourself where you’re at, right now is empowering! I’m curious…do you have a quote that inspires you? I’d love to hear what that is!

Wishing you a beautiful day!
💚,
Jen

Consistent action is key for creating a habit. Consistency does not mean perfection. It means taking steps toward something that's important to you and doing that on a regular basis. You get to decide what "regular" or "consistent" looks like and that will likely vary depending on what you're working on. Decide what is realistic and doable and work toward that. Remember to keep an open mind, and adjust things if it's too hard to maintain and challenge yourself if it's too easy. 😊
You got this! 🙌

You have a great habit in place or favorite routine, and then suddenly realize you haven’t done it in a couple weeks (or longer!) First of all - YOU’RE NOT ALONE this is normal, it’s part of living life and adjusting to things that come your way. Secondly - what do you do? What actually helps you get back to doing what you love or getting back in your groove? Would love to hear what helps you, and you never know, your ideas just might inspire someone else in getting back on track! 💚

I’m starting a new routine. One that’s been very important to me for a loooong time. Why’d I wait so long to commit? Hmmm…at this point that doesn’t matter. What matters is that I started. How ‘bout you? What is that thing you’ve been working on, wanting to start or wishing to be at the next level with? Your mindset matters- what’s one thing you’ll tell yourself each day so that you keep taking steps forward?
