Hmmm I'm feeling like I need to post something because its been ages since I've posted on this page.
So I am sat here thinking what is it that I really want to say? What is the running theme for health and wellness this week?
Well, my running theme for both myself and the clients that I have worked with this particular week is...
Moderation
&
Intuition
So many people I know and work with are constantly doing something to reduce discomfort, increase wellbeing and feel a sense of productivity... ie fulfilliment... ie MEANING.
While I completely understand and advocate for exploration, curiosity, trying new things and a desire for growth and transformation
it is so so important to remember to...
Listen to yourself, listen to your inner guidance, listen to your intution.
We can find research studies and testimonies that are for and against almost anything and everything. These forever changing chemical bodies we have are constantly altering so we have to listen deeply to what feels right for us.
Listen to your intuition, research and learn but listen to youself about what fits and dont think you have to go all in.
So whether its keto, plant based, macro, intermittant fasting, HIIT training, gentle training, more journalling, meditation, breathwork, yoga.... The list goes on...
If there is a change in behaviour that you are trying to achieve, maybe a gentle moderate approach is the one that is more sustainable in the long run.

Though I understand for those of us that have experienced trauma of sorts (everyone) that our 'gut' or our inner voice disguised as inuition may still be in trauma response and not feeding back accurate information if we havent unravelled it yet.
This I will follow up in a another post.
For now, intuition and listening to your inner guidance is what I would like to leave you with and perhaps moderation will work for you.
