Welcome to my new page "Joe Iwanaga DDS PhD"
Joe Iwanaga, DDS, PhD is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, dentist and clinical anatomist from Japan and a board member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists (AACA). His research career has been devoted to clinical anatomy and has resulted in over 250 peer-reviewed publications in the medical/scientific literature. He serves on multiple editorial boards, is an editor for the journal Clinical Anatomy, and sits on the advisory board of the 7th edition of Netter’s Atlas of Human Anatomy. Additionally, Dr. Iwanaga has authored a number of textbooks on clinical anatomy (e.g., Clinical Anatomy of the Ligaments of the Craniocervical Junction, Cambridge Scholars Publishing; Anatomy, Imaging and Surgery of the Intracranial Dural Venous Sinuses, Elsevier) and is an author of the 42nd edition of Gray’s Anatomy.
