Just today, notice where you are comparing where you are to others, label it ‘comparing’ and shift your attention to a thought that feels good or better. Sometimes comparing can be motivating, it can offer us inspiration. If you think it’s potentially positive, then use afformation technique and ask ‘Why was I able to enjoy/achieve/be/believe X?’ How might this help?

It can be hard to know when you’re working yourself into the ground and when you’re making progress. A love of time means valuing time and using it wisely. And by using it wisely we also mean taking breaks, and engaging in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Research shows that leisurely activities and breaks (such as breathing exercises or a walk) actually increase creativity and productivity.

Something awe-full to ponder. ❤️❤️

"Everything has been figured out, except how to live," wrote the existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. That's bombastic and untrue. I find it hard to believe he never encountered any of the countless humans whose lives have been exquisite creations.

Did he refuse to read biographies? Was every person he knew inept at the art of being real? Was he so discouraged by his failure to find meaning that he blindly assumed everyone who has ever lived suffered the same handicap?

In rebellion against Sartre's startling ignorance, I invite you to make your own destiny a tour de force. Regard it as the ultimate art project -- a labor of love that you craft with imaginative zeal.

Do you feel ‘inflamed’ (maybe a little puffy, sluggish, achy, tired, etc.) some days? Check your eating habits. A way I make shifts to feel better is to think about ADDing some good nutrition and then I find I crave the ‘other’ less. This looks delicious. I am going to go make a bowl! 🍲
