The past 16 months since our Grand Opening have been a huge blessing! Every resident who has chosen to call MorningStar at Holly Park home has brought story, wisdom and warmth under our roof, creating a genuine feeling of Family for Life. Residents, team members, families and friends have all contributed to shaping the heart of our community. 🤍

📖 A Story Worth Sharing! 📖

One of our residents, Bev, recently shared an incredible piece of her story with us — a book was dedicated to her! Titled My Life Before I Forget, the book gives a glimpse into the inspiring journey of Bev and her best friend as they made their way from England to America.

Bev recalled how, after a visit back to England to see family, they quickly realized their hearts belonged in America. They returned by ship — along with their brand-new VW Beetle (complete with a sunroof!), excited to begin their next chapter in a land full of opportunity.

Bev proudly shared that the author of the book is her “forever best friend,” making the dedication all the more meaningful. Residents and team members have truly enjoyed reading the book and getting a deeper glimpse into Bev’s remarkable journey and legacy.

🌺 Aloha from Holly Park! 🌺

Last week, our community went all out for an unforgettable Luau! Residents enjoyed live entertainment, mesmerizing hula dancers, and a feast of delicious Hawaiian treats—from Smoked Kalua Pork and Shoyu Chicken to Lomi-lomi Salmon, Hawaiian Rolls, Tropical Fruit displays, and even Hopia Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. 🍍🎶

It was a day full of laughter, music, and island vibes, bringing everyone together in true Hawaiian spirit. 🌴✨

🎲 Glam, Games & Giving Back!

Casino Night was a roaring success! Our residents put on their best flapper dresses and sharp suits, enjoying an evening full of casino games, delicious food, and lively entertainment.

Even better? Their fun and excitement helped raise funds to support building homes in Mexico, bringing hope and new beginnings to families in need. 💛🏡

It’s nights like these that show our community spirit, generosity, and love for a good time—all rolled into one unforgettable evening!

Every first Saturday of the month, our residents come together to enjoy floral arranging, and this month was absolutely stunning! From mums to alstroemerias and delicate baby’s breath, our residents proudly showcased their beautiful creations. 💐✨

It’s amazing to see how a little creativity and teamwork can bring so much joy and color to our community.

🎉 One Million Meters — and Counting! 🚣‍♂️💪

Yesterday, our beloved resident Jim reached an incredible milestone — one million meters of rowing! 🏅 To honor his amazing dedication and spirit, our team surprised him with signs, loud cheers, and lots of love.

Denver7 News even came out to capture his story and share his inspiring journey with the world. 🩵

When Jim returned to the community, he was met with even more signs, smiles, and heartfelt congratulations from all of us who admire him so much.
