'One Pill Kills' town hall on Wednesday to share frightening stats
about the growing dangers of fentanyl and other opioids.
The D.E.A. reports a dramatic increase in the number of fake pills
containing at least two milligrams of fentanyl, enough to be considered a lethal dose.
Six out of every ten pills tested by the D.E.A contains that potentially lethal level,
and in the year 2022, enough fentanyl was recovered to kill
every man, woman and child in the United States.
The Jefferson County D.A., Sheriff's Office, and Beaumont Police held the 'One Pill Kills' town hall to share stats about the growing dangers of fentanyl.
