My neighbor Jeremy has 3 daughters who did a cute thing in the hallway for Christmas.

I like the idea of encouraging the people around you to participate in spontaneous creativity. So after our Christmas Eve breakfast Olivia & I "posted on thier wall", a few little trees of our making.

What I learned from painting this mural:

1. Inspiration is a natural part of the process that comes from really weird random things happening.

2. Expired paint is indeed toxic and should be handled with caution.

3. It's OMBRE not HOMBRÉ.

4. I love me a good Ombre.

I transmuted a universal force in my DNA that was the root of chaos & malcontent in my life.

Up until I discovered a way to make peace with this force (these forces) , I had a lot of trouble finding peace in my life.... no matter where I ran to.

Stillness & quiet was rare.

There was always drama happening around me. In my home, with my friends and family. It was very intense.

The people around me, nor I, knew the root of the almost constant chaos & disorder. So I continued to dig for it.

Within the last few years, I found these powers within my psyche.

The origins of fear. The way I describe them... the ones the universe created to rule fear. This was an incredible discovery.

So I faced them. My fears, my demons... I did advanced shadow work. My higher self took me on vision quests. The mushrooms gave me powerful insights on how I could lift the viel on these shadows for myself & now I am being shown how to share this with my community.

All of this Alchemy, just so I could rest, eat well, feel safe & have a place to call home.

Just last night I went for a bike ride & took selfies next to the river.

This is my life now. This is what I've been cultivating for years. The ability to live somewhere I can clear my mind.

Dancing with sun flowers and soft desert wind. Looking up at fluffy clouds. Crying with joy. I have found salvation.

My story may not mean much to some, but those aren't the ones I'm here to hold space for. If you're reading this, then clearly it's for you.

Let thee find balance.

The ability to surrender & lay down your swords without giving up your integrity or your boundaries.

May your eyes see new places, may the sun shine its light on a pathway to your own salvation. Made just for you.

May you find your way through the bramble, let the roots of your trauma wither & die.

May you open your heart to the cosmos & find the power of your infinite self.

So you can walk through the flowers, without a single other thought on your mind. Blessed Be.

When the relationship dynamic between you and someone you love is lacking in respect & keeping the drama at a minimum becomes a full time job... it's not necessarily going to get better just because you're "doing the work".

Even if both of you are doing everything you can to become better people, and manifest a harmonious union... there can still be serious road blocks that require long term healing. Especially if it's more than just "triggers". I hear a lot of talk about triggers in the spiritual community. Not all of the conversation feels truly on point.

For clarity: continous response to a behavior that feels harmful, is not just a trigger. It's a message that's pointing to a deeper problem. Potentially solvable, but nothing to write off as "just a trigger of past energy."

In fact, a lot of online content on relationship dynamics (especially divine counterparts) has become so over-simplified in the self healing world, that we paint over serious issues by calling them "triggers" and over emphasize personal responsibility for how the other person is treating us.

In other words, it can be made to look like if ANYTHING under the sun is upsetting to you, you must be "unhealed", or "not taking responsibility" or "not doing the work". Even when you know FULL WELL exactly how much work you have poured into said relationship. Inner child, integration, shadow work, psychedelics, THE WHOLE COSMIC SHEBANG and ever still you can't make it work with your "beloved".

It's time for grounded honesty.

Sometimes "the work" is best done in separation. Be it for a time, or for a life time. Sometimes unconditional love is leaving each other alone. It may feel like failure at first, but I've learned that it can mean progress for both people.

I don't sense I'm alone in taking space (perhaps indefinitely) from someone I love at this time of change.

Today was "run around in my Goddess dress doing iconic Goddess s**t day".

When I stepped out my door the heat hit my skin and I radiated orange & vanilla aromas from the essential oils I was wearing. I never noticed that effect before!

It was glorious!

I also smelled a sunflower for the first time today. I did not realize that sunflowers smelled like the seeds we eat but with a soft sweetness.

It's been a time of profound change.

I've been leaning into emotion & sensuality. Once I dip my toes in the waters of self care I am going ALL THE WAY IN.

With all my gratitude to the great Goddess & her numinous expressions. May she bless you all. ✨🌻
