🧈 Butter and ghee have a unique and tasty flavour profile but what are the risks of eating too much and which is the healthier choice?

🍎One tablespoon of ghee has about 120 calories, whereas one tablespoon of butter has about 102 calories
🍎Ghee has a very similar nutritional profile to butter. Both are good source of fat-soluble vitamins but contain high levels of fat which can increase risk of obesity and cardiovascular disease.
🍎Ghee contains slightly more saturated fat per tablespoon (ghee- 8g and butter-7g).
🍎Butter (from grass fed cows) is good sources of conjugated linoleic acid. Some of the health benefits linked with CLA are anticancer properties, lower body fat, support immune function and reduce inflammation.
🍎Ghee is very low in lactose making it suitable for people with lactose intolerance.
