I'm so glad that you found me :-)
I am a 58-year-old certified personal trainer with years of experience teaching interval training, cardio, group dance and barre fitness. I have a college degree, have held various management/leadership positions and have proudly owned and solely operated my own business for over 17 years. I strive to be mindful and enjoy networking and connecting positive and up
lifting people together with my classes. Wiser Health and Fitness was created originally online at the onset of the pandemic in 2020. It was a request of my dedicated customers at the time. It's been 4 years and the online classes STILL run weekly. I teach in-person locally as well, with pop-up classes in rented space, recreation departments & age 60+ centers. I know how important it is to move every day since I have a chronic condition called Lipedema in my arms and legs**(more info. Thankfully movement & exercise has always been a part of my life. It is NEVER too late to start on a movement journey. I hope you will consider doing it with me. Do you want to lose weight? Help control a condition? Prevent injuries by getting stronger? Maintain your health? My specialty is combining my ongoing continuing education in:
• Fitness,
• Movement,
• Special populations,
• Basic nutrition,
• Functional movement,
• Strength,
• Agility training
• Zoom and local in-person classes.

**What is Lipedema? Lipedema is a chronic, progressive condition of fat & connective tissue in arms & legs that affects 1 out of 9 (mostly) women. It is different than obesity. It is different than Lymphedema & many doctors are unfamiliar with it. It appears on the body symmetrically & can be very painful. So much research is going on to help those who have this disease. Exercise is one of the ways to help maintain the condition along with nutrition and other information. There ARE doctors who can diagnose and guide you in the right direction for living with Lipedema. More information can be found at these 2 links provided plus research on your own. https://www.webmd.com/women/lipedema-symptoms-treatment-causes
