Harvard Medical School published a fascinating article regarding the benefits of yoga and how it helps children beyond a physical way.

In the study, results show: "The main cumulative evidence indicates that short-term aerobic exercise, based on several aerobic intervention formats, seems to be effective for mitigating symptoms such as attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, anxiety, executive function and social disorders in children with ADHD."

Ever curious how children develop emotional intelligence?

We understood that children have a need to be seen, and heard by their peers - but sometimes unsure how to manage their emotions in a way that's effective.

Children learn emotional intelligence by becoming aware of their emotions within themselves, and others. Then understanding how to use those emotions effectively when communicating, and how to manage them within.

Ways to build this can be as simple as reading a book with strong emotion in it. Teaching children what deep emotions are and how they can navigate through these emotions creates a safe way to share these experiences through the journey of characters on a page.
