DIY Calming Under-Eye Mask

½ cucumber, chopped
2 tablespoons water
2 drops Young Living German Chamomile essential oil
1 drop Young Living Rose essential oil
1 drop Young Living Sacred Sandalwood essential oil
20 2-inch cotton beauty pads
Freezer-safe container

Add 1 drop of Rose essential oil to 2 tablespoons of water. In a blender, combine the cucumber with the water and Rose oil mixture and puree until liquified. In a bowl, combine the cucumber puree, Sacred Sandalwood essential oil, and German Chamomile essential oil. Add the cotton beauty pads and allow to soak until the pads are saturated. Remove the beauty pads and squeeze out excess liquid. Place the pads in a closable container and freeze until ready to use.
To use, remove 2 frozen beauty pads from the container and place them on a clean dish. Let them thaw at room temperature for 10 minutes before use. Place 1 pad under each eye for 15 minutes.

As we countdown to the new year , my heart is filed with gratitude for all that the Lord has provided despite this pandemic!

🌺We welcomed a new member into the family and he was the missing piece we have been looking so long to complete the puzzle.

🌺We spent a lot of family time indoors cooking and gardening.

🌺My parents got to stay a whole year and help me out with the lil one.

🌺Realized the joy in simple things like taking a walk in the park, enjoying the stillness of time, taking time to appreciate mother nature...

Making my favorite cleaner using Thieves! Did you know the Thieves cleaner is a concentrate so you only need a capful of the cleaner in a 16oz bottle of water. I used to wonder can this be really so effective ? Well after I killed a spider with the exact same solution I was sold! Amazing right - completely plant based , non toxic cleaner that your family can safely breathe in afterwards.

You can get totally creative and make your own pumpkin spice cleaner with clove , nutmeg , cinnamon . Lots of recipes out there !!

Remember, you don't need a lot of drops to achieve your intended result.In most cases a drop or two is more than enough.

🌿For diffusing in a small room, 4 to 5 drops are sufficient.For larger rooms, 6 to 7 drops is good.
🌿For cooking, a drop is good enough. Swipe right to see the guidelines.
🌿Sometimes, it takes time to get used to an oil.Initially you may not like an oil but later you can't stop using them!

Always go slow and low when starting.Adjust the drops based on your comfort level.

You can stretch the life of your oils by using carrier oils such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond oil and so on.They help spread the oils on a larger surface.
